Principles for raising children;
1-Don’t compare your children- “Why can’t you be more like your sister.
2- A sin forgiven or a mistake atoned for; can’t be used in a conversation again.
3-Calling people names is powerful stuff both
positive and negative.
4- Don’t use names that hold your kids in something.
“You will always be my little girl,” or “You are such a klutz.”
5-Never looked shocked when your kids tell you something. “Dad I want to try marijuana.”
6- Consistency – Your repetition is your reputation.
7- The husband and wife need to have a united front when dealing with their children.
8- Parents must not paint the other spouse as the bad guy, or have mistimed mercy.
9- Discipline is not punishment. Discipline says, “I love you to much to let you continue to have that attitude.”
Punishment says, “You did something wrong now you will be penalized for it.” Punishment is a way to get you back for the
discomfort you caused me.
10- Delayed discipline is ineffective. Reprimanding a
child two days after their offense is worthless correction.
11- Children must be able to count on your consistent response every time.
12- Correct attitude before it becomes behavior.
This teaches them 2 things:
A- to manage their attitude.
B- that God cares what you think more than what you do.
@KatTimpf When my sister started dating her future husband whose name was John, she talked about how wonderful he was so much that we started calling him Juan Derful. I think your Juan needs a great last name!
You're amazing. Love and prayers for you and your extended family!
@HHSResponse@HHSGov@SecKennedy Now make hospital food healthy again. No more processed food, no more additives! Fresh all natural food cooked at the hospital kitchen.
Hospital food now is uniformly the same unhealthy gross food. No more red gelatin, no more white vread, no more fake eggs and fake good. Fix it
@SecKennedy@HHSGov Great start to improve physicians' knowledge of nutrition. Next step, I suggest make hospital food healthy again!!! All fresh, no processed meals. Thank you!
@Her_Nonymous_D I always told my daughters and sons to tell the nurse or doctor that they wanted me to stay! It always worked except when it was x-rays or surgery. But they knew they would be questioned those times.
A baby was born 4 months early, pronounced dead, and then revived with only a 1% chance of survival.
Doctors predicted the worst: poor quality of life — unable to walk or talk.
When his mother was given the option to give up on her child’s life, she refused.
“I had to give him a shot.”
That baby went on to become a Super Bowl champion.
His name is Derick Hall.
Every child deserves a chance at life.
@SecKennedy Please take a look at standard hospital food. It is unhealthy, overprocessed, nasty food. Who eats white bread, fake eggs, colored jello, & skim milk expecting good nutrition? Most hospitals buy from food processor distributors. Make Hospital Food Healthy Again! #MHFHA
