This animation explores one of the most fundamental structures of life: DNA. Beyond its iconic double helix shape, what we’re seeing here is a dynamic, molecular-level representation of how information is stored, organized and expressed at the smallest scales.
At LampScience, we believe that every detail of the human body, from its outer anatomy to its invisible molecular dynamics, deserves to be represented with precision and respect for reality.
When science looks real, understanding becomes possible.
In this animation we had the pleasure of bringing to life one of nature’s most fascinating microscopic creatures: the tardigrade, often known as the “water bear.” Despite their tiny size, tardigrades are famous for their incredible resilience and have become microscopic icons.
In this sequence, we are visualizing the interaction between the activating receptor NKG2D, expressed on Natural Killer (NK) cells, and its ligand MICA, which is typically upregulated on stressed, infected, or tumor cells. Whens cience is understood, it becomes far more powerful.
Today marks 57 years since one of humanity's greatest achievements: the Apollo 11 Moon landing.More than half a century later, that first footprint on the lunar surface continues to inspire scientists, engineers, educators and dreamers around the world.
We collaborated with Celeris Therapeutics to visually represent this process with scientific accuracy, while also highlighting how their advanced machine learning algorithms help predict biomolecular interactions that leverage and enhance the ubiquitin–proteasome system.

Because when science looks real, understanding becomes possible.
For our collaboration with NBF LANES, we created a custom scientific immersive animation designed specifically for their booth experience at #SCIVACRimini2026.
Science deserves to be understood. We make it visible.
At LampScience, we believe that powerful scientific communication happens when technical precision meets accessible visual storytelling. Our goal is always to transform intricate biological processes into clear, engaging narratives that can be understood.
At LampScience, we work to turn complex scientific concepts into visual experiences that are not only engaging, but also grounded in real data and scientific rigor. We help bridge the gap between research and understanding.
At LampScience, we believe by translating complex cellular structures into accurate visualizations, we aim to reveal the hidden architecture of life in a way that is both scientifically rigorous and visually compelling.
At LampScience, we work with biotech founders, researchers and science-driven companies to transform complex mechanisms into compelling 3D visual stories that inform, persuade and resonate.
At LampScience, we are deeply passionate about space, astrophysics, and the challenge of transforming complex scientific discoveries into visual stories that people can truly understand and connect with.
What we call “emerging viruses” are pathogens that appear for the first time in a population, or known viruses that suddenly expand rapidly. Viral evolution is deeply connected to ecology, biodiversity, climate change and the way humans interact with ecosystems and wildlife.
