Picture this: an armed criminal—already wanted by police—breaks into an apartment. The sleeping homeowner wakes up to find an armed man in his home and defends himself and his property. The criminal ends up in hospital, and the homeowner gets charged for assault.

Make it make sense.

We must have action from the federal government to strengthen our criminal code so that burglars and thieves are no longer protected by weak laws; it is unconscionable that we are criminalizing law-abiding Ontarians who have no choice but to protect themselves and their families from violent criminals.

Enough is enough: it’s time to pick a side.

@arvin070186 @TownOfMiltonON Also advise city crew not to block entrances to side roads from main roads , folks living on inner streets can't get out as they need to cross 3to4 ft of snow bank, common sense dictates clear access to side roads when clearing main roads

@TownOfMiltonON trucks are cleaning bare roads (Savoline) at 1:15 PM today, whereas most of the side roads north of Derry on Savoline are not cleared and some on south side as well. Time to spend taxpayer money bit wisely.
