@TimTheAsshole @htowen97@TracieLiberty @shawntarlo24 @tmshaf@JaclynCorin That's not what I'm saying at all. I live on a farm in NZ. I've lived in Australia and Germany. I own guns. I'm not okay with murder or terrorism. It's common sense to take measures to avoid the mass casualties caused by guns by having gun control. It works. That's been proven.
My very first giveaway! Follow and RT for a chance to win NYT Top 10 bestseller - a tale about 4 siblings who learn the date of their death. Will they let fate affect their lives? A great literary fiction with a small dose of magical realism! Ends on March 30 #giveaway#amreading
@GirlWhoWrites2 I saw Love, Simon last Friday and the entire, completely full theatre of millennials were crying and sharing packages of tissues that were passed around at the start by the staff. It was one of the most beautiful things I've ever been a part of.
ATTENTION! From 26 March until 11 April, we'll be opening a submissions window. This is for female writers only (and in the hopes of redressing an imbalance in the number of women who submit to us). More details to come; until then, we need to get this message out, so please RT.
"They're a savage lot, aren't they?"
"Those are children."
"Yes, but I don't know anyone else who thinks it's a good idea to roll around in mud and eat crayons. Do you?"
Tamar shook her head.
"As I said, savages." #TuesLine
I haven't written a single word in three days and I am very disappointed in myself but it is okay because I just bought the largest coffee I could find and I'm thinking about writing, so, progress. #amwriting
Michelle and I are so inspired by all the young people who made today’s marches happen. Keep at it. You’re leading us forward. Nothing can stand in the way of millions of voices calling for change.
Writing is building an entire world and using pieces of your soul to bring characters to life all with the crushing knowledge that your stories may never see the light of day.
It's not easy. It may feel hopeless. But every word you put down makes you a stronger writer 💕
For a girl like her, anonymity was easy. All of the brightness and boldness had been ripped from her long ago by her makers. Sometimes she smiled still, though the lift of her lips did little more than cover up the cracks in her shell with wrinkled cellophane. #talesnoir
"For a politician, she isn't so bad. At least she keeps half of the promises she makes to the voters. These days, we're lucky if the Owl of Senna manages to keep one." #wackywed
