🚨 SOUND THE ALARM! 🚨
Now that I have your attention (sorry, had to do it one last time), a career update to share:
For those of you that aren’t yet aware or haven’t seen, today will be my final day on staff at @GoPowercat after roughly 17 years with @LifeofFitz and the amazing community there.
It’s a bittersweet decision but one that I made knowing it was in the best interest of both parties. @ColeCarmody52 is going to lead a younger, more energized crew there and I’m excited for all of the content they’ll bring.
As for me, I look forward to fueling other areas of my life, which, among the most important things, includes more uninterrupted time with my wife and children.
Fear not though because I’m not leaving the local recruiting world altogether. The Verbal Commitment podcast on @KCSportsNetwork with @KFlahertyKCSN isn’t going anywhere! Our passion for the area runs too deep and we absolutely love having the ability to spotlight all the high school football talent that continues to blossom throughout Kansas and around Kansas City. That show and its platform for future prospects has only just begun so stick around for plenty more to come.
Deepest of thanks to all of you who have followed or contributed to my reporting over the years because your interest, access and support kept me going and truly made this journey more fulfilling than I ever imagined.
It’s been an honor and thrill to cover my alma mater for so long. Time to write a new chapter. 💜
