Public education leadership can be tough — but I’ve found strength through faith, especially in the hard seasons.
If you’ve ever wondered whether you were placed here “for such a time as this,” this reflection is for you: https://t.co/TIY0tcpMh1

So true. In my experience, forgiveness isn’t a one-time decision—it’s a daily process. Resentment and hurt resurface, but with persistence and a focus on gratitude, they lose their grip. Healing takes time, but it does come.
True forgiveness isn’t about forgetting — it’s about choosing to let go of the hurt so you can move on. It’s for your own freedom, not the other person’s benefit.

I’ve learned with time that things are not always this black and white, but I agree that we always need to be prepared to take the road less traveled to do the right thing or avoid the wrong thing. #againstthegrain#character#roadlesstraveled

It's simple: The relationships in your life are the most important determinant of how well you do in life. Focus on choosing your relationships wisely and investing in those who will return the favor. You won't regret it.
I’m always amazed by the little flowers that push their way up through the cracks in our concrete steps. Beauty finds a way through the heavy, hard slab.
Even in the most difficult of circumstances, cracks can found in the seemingly impenetrable harsh reality weighing us down. Light and water makes it way in and hope can spring up if we look for it…if we let it.
