In many states and localities, it's fairly easy to sign up as an election judge so you can oversee the process, and serve your local community. Every state, county, and municipality is different. Check with your local voting office on how to participate. 5/

And when you receive your ballot in the mail, or come election day - GO VOTE. Thirty states have laws requiring your employer to give you time off to go vote. Sometimes this is even "on the clock." Check to see what's applicable in your state. 4/
