"This Sunday night’s UFC spectacle on the South Lawn...captures something about this moment in our history.
It's vulgar, violent, commercial, grandiose, tacky, and it dishonors a place once thought worthy of care and respect. In other words, it’s Donald Trump."

“AND YOU STILL DARE TO OPEN YOUR MOUTH…”
Sasha Legerman: This is too accurate not to share.
This Australian’s response to Trump’s rant that “NATO does nothing for America” is absolutely devastating:
“Mate. You run a country where 600,000 homeless people will sleep on the streets tonight.
A country where 40% of adults can’t cover a $400 emergency without borrowing money.
A country where insulin costs more than a car payment, and people ration it just to stay alive.
A country where medical debt is the number one cause of bankruptcy.
A country where women die in hospital parking lots because doctors are too afraid of abortion laws to treat miscarriages.
You imprison more of your own citizens than any country on Earth.
More than China. More than Russia. More than North Korea.
In the land of the free, 2 million people sit in cages, and a quarter of them haven’t even been convicted of anything.
They’re simply too poor to afford bail.
Your life expectancy is declining. You’re the only developed nation where that’s happening.
Your infant mortality rate is worse than Cuba’s.
Your children practice active shooter drills between math and English classes while you sell defense stocks to your friends.
Your minimum wage hasn’t changed in 15 years.
Your teachers work two jobs, your veterans sleep under bridges, and you just spent a trillion dollars flattening a country that never attacked you.
And now a convicted criminal — found liable for sexual abuse, defending a pedophile, sleeping with a porn star, and running the biggest dumpster-fire campaign since the Taliban — is thanking you for yet another disaster.
And you call Greenland badly governed?
Greenland has universal healthcare. Free education. One of the lowest incarceration rates in the world.
Nobody there goes bankrupt because they got sick. Nobody dies in a waiting room because insurance refused treatment.
‘NATO wasn’t there when we needed them.’
When exactly was that, champ?
September 11?
Because NATO invoked Article 5 for the first and only time in history FOR YOU.
Soldiers from dozens of countries deployed, fought, bled, and died in Afghanistan FOR YOU.
Australia wasn’t even in NATO, and we still showed up. For twenty years.
And then you left at 2 a.m. without telling anyone and left everybody else to clean up the mess.
You don’t care that a great nation is being terrorized by your friend, and you haven’t shown it a single ounce of sympathy.
So maybe before calling other countries badly governed, take a look at your own backyard, you aluminum siding salesman with a spray tan.
The only thing badly managed in this picture is your damn mouth.
And you still dare to lecture the rest of the world?”
⚠️US consumers are falling behind on their debt payments at a pace not seen since the aftermath of the 2008 Financial Crisis:
The total proportion of US consumer loans at least 30 days overdue held hit 4.8% in Q1 2026, the highest in 9 YEARS.
Meanwhile, SERIOUS delinquencies of 90+ days overdue continued to deteriorate across every major loan category.
Credit card serious delinquencies rose +0.4 percentage points in Q1 2026, to 13.1%, the highest since Q4 2010 and just below the post-2008 peak of 13.7%.
Since Q3 2022, serious credit card delinquencies have surged +5.5 percentage points, a larger increase than the +3.9 points seen during the entire 2007 to 2010 Financial Crisis period.
Auto loan serious delinquencies rose +0.4 percentage points, to 5.6%, the highest on record.
Student loan 90-plus day delinquencies jumped +0.7 percentage points, to 10.3%, the highest since Q1 2020.
As a result, serious delinquent federal student loan debt jumped +$12.2 billion in Q1 2026, to a record $171.4 billion, surpassing the prior peak of $166.8 billion set in Q4 2019.
This comes as 2.6 million borrowers defaulted on student loans in Q1 2026 alone, following 1.0 million in Q4 2025, with the average borrower entering default now nearly 40 years old, up from 36.4 before the pandemic.
The American consumer is drowning in debt, and the tide is still rising.
🚨BREAKING: Republicans just voted AGAINST my amendment to stop Trump's $1.8 billion slush fund from bailing out the convicted felons who assaulted cops on January 6th.
You read that right. They blocked us from even debating the issue on the House floor.
Beyond shameful.
The President is now exempt from our tax laws while everyone else has to obey them.
Got it.
It's just mind blowing that is what's happening in America.
Under Biden’s last year, the U.S. economy added an average of 122,000 jobs every month. Under Trump, that average has collapsed to just 26,000 a month. In Trump math, that’s a “500% decrease.” (Around 80% in real math.)
My @Morning_Joe Chart:
Thanks to Donald Trump, we now have two Democratic parties. With the defeat of @RepThomasMassie for being a principled fiscal conservative, the Republican Party basically exists in name only. We have two big-government political parties, each offering its own brand of socialism.
I am proud and thankful to have served in the U.S. House of Representatives with my friend Thomas Massie, a giant among weak pathetic men.
Releasing the Epstein files was our demise.
But it was worth every single bit because now everyone knows the truth.
You are ruled by the Epstein class that cares nothing about you and your elected leaders are bought and controlled by a foreign lobby.
Tonight the future of the Republican Party was destroyed.
The Real America First Movement will rise led by the younger generations, who hate the old guard with an unquenchable passion.
Let us pray that we have a country left by the time these creatures are gone.
The US stock market is now more expensive than it was in 1929, 1965, and 2000.
Each of these coincided with a major market top that led to over a 35% drawdown.
But each of them were triggered by one key factor…
A thread 🧵
“We are doing it to help Israel.”
Trump says we don’t need to do it at all, on attacking Iran.
You are paying ridiculous prices for gas, inflation is rising, and we are evaporating our weapon stockpiles, and he finally admitted why.
Wake up everyone!!!
🚨 HOLY SMOKES. Rep. @MassieforKY just EXPOSED the swamp coordinating to take him out for voting AGAINST foreign aid and AGAINST endless wars.
$6 MILLION in one week. Three billionaires. Zero from Kentucky.
MASSIE: "The force of the WHOLE SWAMP has come down on me."
"It's not a grassroots funded thing. It's predominantly THREE BILLIONAIRES who are upset I've never voted for foreign aid, particularly foreign aid to Israel."
"They're also upset that I vote against the WARS."
"They are not MAGA and they have NEVER been to Kentucky. They're HEDGE FUND MANAGERS and GAMBLING MAGNATES."
"They have BLACKLISTED ME. For the last 18 months they have not invited me on a single show."
"They're afraid if they give me a venue to speak, the White House will SHUT THEM OUT. They want ACCESS more than anything."
"I have to PAY to be on Fox now with my ads."
This is what happens when ONE congressman votes his conscience against the war machine.
Don't tread on Massie. 🦍🟧
US job market cracks are spreading:
Full-time employment declined -424,000 in April, the biggest monthly decline since January and the 2nd-largest since May 2025.
Year-to-date, full-time job count has now dropped -963,000, to 134.3 million, the lowest since December 2024.
The number of full-time workers is also now below March 2023 levels.
As a result, the ratio of full-time employment to total employment is down to 82.6%, in-line with 2020 pandemic levels.
Meanwhile, part-time employment rose +123,000 in April, but remains 1.0 million below its all-time high of 28.4 million.
Job-market stress is worsening beneath the headlines.
Now that we are officially 1/3 if the way through Trump’s Presidency, lets look back at how he is doing on his campaign promises:
No new wars ❌
$2/gallon gas ❌
Reduce the debt ❌
Drain the swamp ❌
Mass deportations ❌
Balance the budget ❌
Release Epstein files ❌
Lower cost of groceries ❌
End Ukraine/Russia war ❌
Release healthcare plan ❌
Lower cost of healthcare ❌
Cut taxes for the working class ❌
Bring domestic manufacturing back ❌
