🚨A Florida jury just handed Republican State Rep. Fabian Basabe the verdict he swore would send him packing. He's still in office, so we now know exactly what that promise was worth.

Last week in Tallahassee, jurors found Basabe liable for sexually harassing two of his own male staffers, battering both of them, and defaming one of the young men and his mother on social media. The jury deliberated for less than two hours before ordering him to pay $450,000 in damages.

The testimony was ugly. Legislative aide Nicolas Frevola told the court that Basabe whispered in his ear, "I want all of that butt," and proceeded to slap his buttocks, before demonstrating the assault for jurors. Frevola also described Basabe slapping him across the face at a legislative reception after accusing him of cheating on his girlfriend.

Intern Jacob Cutbirth testified that Basabe put a hand on his thigh, tried to kiss him, and repeatedly pushed him to leave his fiancée for a man.

Basabe voted in 2023 to expand DeSantis's "Don't Say Gay" law, extending its classroom restrictions on discussing sexual orientation all the way through eighth grade. The same lawmaker who helped legislate LGBTQ identity out of classrooms was privately propositioning his own male staffers and showing them pictures of a naked man on his phone.

Basabe fired his lawyers mid-case and represented himself, scrolling ChatGPT for legal answers while the judge scolded him for breaking rules that would have gotten "an attorney" sanctioned.

Back in 2023, Basabe recorded himself vowing he'd resign "on the spot" if any of it were ever proven true. A jury just proved it. He hasn't resigned. He's still on the ballot this November.

Jurors heard both sides under oath and believed his accusers completely.

🚨Another MAGA man just got exposed as a child predator, and this time a jury made it official.

Daniel Lee Grier of Athens, Georgia was found guilty this week on one count of aggravated s*xual battery and three counts of child m*lestation.

The charges involved incidents from 2022 and 2024, both involving a victim who was under 10 years old at the time.

Grier was sentenced to life in prison, with the first 25 years to serve for the aggravated s*xual battery conviction. On top of that, he got 40 more years to serve for the child m*lestation counts.

Grier’s not a drag queen, transgender, a Muslim, or undocumented immigrant. Instead, he appears to be the usual suspect. Before his arrest, Grier posted a photo of Trump 2024 flags flying off his truck, writing: “Happy Independence Day to everyone.”

This story is unlikely to generate national headlines given his background. When there’s no minority to demonize, stories like these remain buried in local coverage.

🚨Seth Powell spent years online warning parents that LGBTQ people and Disney were "grooming" kids for “s*xual deviance.” This week, police say he was the one hiding something far worse.

New York State Police have arrested the 22-year-old Seth Powell, of Hamburg, NY. He's charged with two felonies: Promoting a S*xual Performance by a Child and Possessing a S*xual Performance by a Child.

Investigators with State Police's Internet Crimes Against Children unit say he had child s*xual abuse material and was sharing it online.

Powell Facebook page has the types of posts we’ve come to expect from an alleged child predator.

He called Donald Trump "my hero,” posted "I love Donald J. Trump,” and even defended Trump’s name appearing in the Epstein files more than anyone else.

He shared a quote calling Disney a company that used Christian “trust" to build a credible reputation to "groom" kids "for s*xual perversion." A reference to minimal LGBTQ inclusion in recent Disney movies.

He falsely claimed that drag queens only seek out child audiences, while various drag queens have regularly performed for the elderly and disabled.

He wrote that gay s*x "literally ruins your life" unless you believe in heaven, and told a bisexual woman that being gay was like enjoying heroin.

And in a post that is haunting—given the charges he’s facing—he posted about a YMCA job, writing "it's so nice to be working with kids again."

This is the split screen with the far right in one snapshot. Loudly obsessed with “protecting kids” from an imaginary threat while they are the ones preying on them.

MAGA predators always project their demons onto vulnerable minority groups.

Know their game. Never let yourself be fooled by it.
