Having Claude iterate on some foundational experiments to see if it can figure out the base structure of the origin of the universe π
I have no idea the details of all this math π¬ but I will learn as I go!
I put together a quick guide of the Anunnaki from Sumerian Mythology, kind of interesting to see it all at a glance, the full puzzle pieces pieced together into one quick walkthrough π https://t.co/67WzAZPHmT
Some potential better new terms for where Tool might fit genre-wise:
- Polyrock
- Turn Rock
- Spiral Rock
- Tune Tech
Hard to find something that fits in every way.
Where do we submit these?
I donβt like how Tool is bundled under the genre of Progressive Rock, that includes King Crimson and Yes, and even Led Zeppelin in some cases haha, too broad. Dream Theater is the main one in the category too, but totally different from Tool.
So then itβs like people say Progressive Metal, but Mudvayne is in that group. Mudvayne and Tool have some surface features you could say in common (time signatures, distortion, scream/growlingβ¦), but Mudvayne is evil angry (https://t.co/nWOm8zsOlt) and Tool is motivationally/spiritually growling-angry to effect positive action I feel like (https://t.co/C3psqp8GTO), whereas Mudvayne is more like hate or anger or whatever lol. So ChatGPT says Progressive Alternative Metal for Tool, okay whatever, too long, still not that accurate. Kinda crazy :].
I'm not trying to be nit-picky, but if we're inventing random terms for music genres all over the place, might as well make them semi-useful beyond just "rock".
In long form AI says βprogressive alternative metal with psychedelic and ritualistic tendenciesβ. There should be a term for thatπ€¨ππ. But I don't like term "metal" for Tool, not at all painting the right picture :).

Haha! Nice work, the beat/rhythm here gave me some goosebumps for a second, like it! Building up for ~30sec from here to when it hits right around 3:04-3:05. That part should have been dragged out for like a few more minutes :) https://t.co/JxsomG2CAA Simple but effective :)
(Digging around for good parts in progressive songs, stumbled on this short one).
From creatures lost inside overwhelming sensation, we slowly and painfully learned patterns, organizing them into symbols like gestures and sounds, and after a long long time, sounds sequenced into words, which eventually became stories, etc.... We finally then figured out we really should be externalizing our memory a bit and *write stuff down*, which led fairly quickly probably to rich and formal mathematics, and ultimately code and the corresponding software as we've seen directly ourselves for the past 100 or so years.

Now humans are at the edge of the old ways and on the verge a totally new way of sharing and transmitting experience to others, where language is not just merely meaning transferred through words and such, but it's there actually generating and creating reality itself.
The end game is not going to be more text and cooler spoken languages and whatnot, we're going to eventually soon be sharing experience directly itself, that's what the main goal is anyways haha. A quick glance at how we perhaps go from point A to point B π
@claudeai please allow people to customize syntax highlighting, and otherwise fully customize all terminal colors so things match, looking forward to it, thank you π
https://t.co/v1fPw357oE
(you cannot customize the diff or code syntax highlighting, why are those themes hardcoded into the project π€, seems like an easy quick fix/win).
Morning iteration real quick, see if the consonants can improve.
m n Ε Ι‘ d b p t k h s f v z Κ Κ ΞΈ Γ° w l r j
Pretty little amount but now you can kind of hear the consonant sounds coming through, not at all good enough though yet, and some seem wrong/out of order.
https://t.co/t8rLZ96dKd
Claude you are not figuring out consonants though, is it not possible π (sorry for the alarm bwah sounds haha, dangit wondering if this is even really possible to accomplish now...)

@roydherbert I had claude go through your zenodo papers (https://t.co/YU7oSmzkBO) to make it make sense to me but still have a ways to go. Gist of the scope/key questions I had, it said here:
1. The base structure is one conserved four-dimensional current of "time-stuff", a river of time filling all of spacetime, redistributed but never created or destroyed.
2. The universe doesn't start, it transitions from a stiff high-density phase into the ordinary expanding phase we observe. The singularity is replaced by a phase change.
3. The framework is silent on consciousness. Anyone citing Chronoflux for a cosmic-consciousness claim is reading something into a corpus that doesn't make that argument.
4. Read Chronoflux for what it is: a physics framework with a single conserved primitive that tries to derive a lot of standard and exotic physics. Don't read it for what it isn't: a theory of mind, meaning, or ultimate origins.
So is that roughly correct to some general degree? I for sure thought we were talking about consciousness a little while back, or "experience" https://t.co/StiE4m1nKk as the foundation/base of everything.
But it seems like the goal of Chronoflux is to unify all physics/quantum/base science into being based or derived from a single unified construct, the time fluid so to speak. That is a cool/good/great goal to move toward, but then it will just be a more unified model of physics, but will not be a full model of the conscious universe the ancient sages have been trying to note down for thousands of years for others grasp, correct?
(I basically had claude summarize each paper one by one, then create a suite of general models being described across all them, then to distill that into a 1-pager with simplified language, with the 4 points above being the tail end of that).
