georgehotz（全名 George Francis Hotz，常用 ID geohot）是美国非常有名的黑客（hacker）、程序员和创业者，出生于1989年，目前36岁。他最出名的几个成就和经历包括：17岁（2007年）：全世界第一个成功解锁（unlock）第一代 iPhone，让它可以摆脱 AT&T 运营商限制，用其他 SIM 卡也能正常上网打电话 → 一战成名，成为当年最年轻的传奇黑客。
2010年：破解了当时被认为“不可能破解”的 PlayStation 3（PS3），导致索尼（Sony）告他，最后庭外和解。
短暂在 Facebook、Google Project Zero（专门找 0day 漏洞的团队）工作过。
2015年：创立 https://t.co/LCQGWSI64Q 这家公司，做自动驾驶辅助系统（openpilot 项目），目标是做出比肩甚至超越特斯拉 Autopilot 的方案，但走低成本、开源路线。openpilot 是目前最知名的开源驾驶辅助项目之一，很多车主真的在用。
他和 Elon Musk 公开battle过，马斯克曾想高薪挖他去特斯拉改 Autopilot，他直接回“我不想为你工作，我想打败你”。
2022年：短暂去 Twitter（现 X）当“实习生”，帮 Elon Musk 干活，一个多月就跑路了。
