Day 1 impressions of iPhone Air coming from a 16 Pro Max:
1. Taking the phone out of the box was not as much of a “wow” than I thought it would be. However, using it for hours, the thin-ness and the lightness hits you every time you grab it from your pocket.
2. While the screen is the same as in the 16PM (just brighter), the bezels are noticeably thicker.
3. The Dynamic Island is uncomfortably lower on the screen and the unintended consequence is that the time/battery display is pushed down as well, and apps that black out that area give much less vertical space to the content.
4. The one speaker sucks. The quality is worse, but the thing people will really care about is volume, it’s noticeably quieter. Though what I’ve found is that for dialogue or talking videos, the dialogue sounds more focused.
5. The screen being .4 inches smaller than a PM is a bigger downsizing than anticipated. It feels like it makes the resolution just small enough to go one size down in display scaling and everything takes up much more room on the screen than on a PM (especially the keyboard).
6. The battery seems meh. Don’t have the MagSafe battery but phone came at 48% and after an hour of setup it went to 19% (granted I was setting up the phone)
Despite all of this, the phone is gorgeous, super light and through so much deliberation just like @SnazzyLabs, it feels like you’re holding a little bit of the future. If you’re a tech head like me, it feels like the trade offs are worth it. I guess we’ll see in a few weeks.
I feel like there is an untapped market in the Minecraft server space. A place where singleplayer and multiplayer can blend wonderfully. The gameplay would be dynamic, rewarding, and story-driven.
I often see conversations about "Minecraft is dying." I don't believe this is true. Minecraft has been and always will be a place for people to create. With what Minecraft is capable nowadays, people can tell powerful stories in new and meaningful ways.
With the right focus and motivation, I think new games built in Minecraft can succeed. It's a wide open sandbox.

Today marks my 1 year anniversary at @HypixelNetwork - not only have I enjoyed my time working on SkyBlock but it has taught me a lot about myself and I have met some amazing people along the way.
Here's to several more years!
@ThirtyVirus The game works surprisingly well in 30fps. It probably was a development limitation and not a design choice but I think it works fine as one. It isn’t noticeable and it’s one of the best games of all time.
