@B7frankH It’s simply no longer an incompatibility of cultures and practices. Those who selfishly impose their beliefs with which they seem to hold this authority or domination, are a stain to the heritage of the U.S., and what has built this country.
Funny enough it’s not the billionaires or even Elon alone that don’t want to. Governments and non-profits/orgs are so corrupt, as has been exposed recently that they know the funds are not being properly utilized. There are just fundamental problems with the statement of ending world poverty. Another point being that the status of these billionaires and such is probably less that 50% able to be liquidated.
An excerpt from Vivek Ramaswamy’s “Truths” book. The chapter as a whole has an enlightening viewpoint on climate change activists. I think this excerpt is interesting for what left-leaning policymakers influence and advocate within climate change movement…
equal opportunity as a provision to minority groups is obviously one needed, and two provides the opportunity to those who may be less likely exposed to it. however the merit involved with your work and the discipline it took to be skillful and knowledgeable cannot be undermined! DEI undermines merit! at the end of the day, if your opportunity to be employed poses the same equal challenge no matter your background, merit will and should prevail.
Electoral college prevents from the popular vote being a result of essentially a “buy out”. Which we all know that’s what Democrats run on. The Supreme Court is a justice system, and when you increase the number of those who make decisions based on justice at the federal level, you can also “buy” them out, and sway decisions much easier than the current 9. Nine justices allows for easier conformity, therefore leading to better decisions. D.C as a state makes no sense, and I wouldn’t mind Puerto Rico as a state.
If I am not mistaken, he balanced the budget due to a bailout from state governor… I don’t think balancing a deficit with another debt is impressive. To add, he is losing the wealthy he promised to tax more, which will hurt his tax revenues for the future and guess what, that defecit is back.
I think the goal is to either cut down significantly or eliminate welfare programs, and instead clump the welfare programs into the personal deduction allowance everyone has. Don’t make enough to actually fulfill it, then it is supplemented by the government. Of course there will be people who stay at the minimum, but it also reduces cases of fraud and delinquency across multiple welfare programs.
@Ava_AM12ff The belief to be whatever you feel because it makes you comfortable and secure leads a weak life, an unrealistic life, and a damaging effect towards your community!
@travelingflying I am 20 years old, about to become a junior in college. I am incredibly disappointed I was never taught on this subject throughout my entire education.
You do realize those three markers you pointed out are considered higher than targeted. Fed targets a 2% inflation rate, interest rates are preferable around 6%, and gas that averages $5 is pretty horrid. Trumps first term averaged $2.57 at the pump, and even now it’s not even $5, but around the $3.90 mark. I don’t even need to explain to you how low inflation was under his first term, and it hasn’t exceeded 3.3% in his second.
Yes you are right, I think what’s driving up domestic price is the restraints the oil companies in the U.S. put on the U.S. consumer. With our huge oil supply, we can sell oil cheaper to attract buyers, plus there are more buyers globally than there are in the U.S. obviously. It’s all in all dirty from the oil companies.
Thanks grammar police. You are disregarding the issue. No one ever brought up those who actually have work visas or permits. We are talking about those who cross the border illegally to take advantage of the services and quality of life that others have had to patiently wait for, and are RESERVED for U.S. citizens. Those who continue to reside in the U.S. from an illegal crossing is the topic of conversation.
@NekoOjiSama@joeroganhq Now to be fair to your point, the petrodollar in theory would hurt us because the global market of oil is dominantly exchanged using the U.S. dollar.
