If you’re 25-30 and you think you’re way way smarter than your management chain at a medium/large company, you should go found a company. Otherwise you are either a liar or a coward.

I think the urban bugman stuff is a little overplayed. I like cities. I’ve lived in Manhattan, where I occupied a 300 square-foot apartment. At various points across one’s lifespan, occupying a tiny apartment in a thriving metro area can be really fun and exciting and there’s obviously nothing wrong with it.
But if you have no interest in private property, no desire ever to own it, you’ve never longed for your own little piece of the Earth to call yours, to do with as you please, then we really are very different kinds of people to the point that I am tempted to feel there’s something just slightly not human about you.
Software as a service
Software as a service
Software as a service
I want you guys to say it out loud three times
It’s software… but as a service
To proclaim servicing the market with their software needs, is no longer a valuable service,
Is to be a complete fking rtard who is mistaking their own extremely limited experience in providing that service, with the entire markets experience and outlook
Software… is more talked about and invested in than it has ever been in history
So anyone who can’t provide it to others as a… service… in a way that benefits the market (which is bigger and more ready to buy than ever) should not blame their failure to create value as a fundamental flaw in the business model of… software as a service
In my contacts I have over ONE HUNDRED INDIVIDUALS probably that have SOFTWARE companies doing over 50 MILLION in revenue and GROWING with higher margins than ever before
People spend more time on the internet than ever before
That means software is more important than ever before every day
b2b saas is servicing that usage indirectly via servicing customer applications
Usage based token model was just popularized as a new way to provide SOFTWARE AS A SERVICE and it’s working better than any other SOFTWARE AS A SERVICE pricing model has before
Saas is dead to those who would fail at every other attempt to create value for the market with an agency, brick and mortar, hardware, etc.
SAAS IS DEAD FOR BOTTED ENTITLED RATS WHO THINK BECAUSE THEY CLAUD CODED A SIMPLY APP THE MARKET OWES THEM
NO BUSINESS MODEL IS DEAD UNTIL IT IS RENDERED ILLEGAL OR UNTIL IT NO LONGER PROVIDES VALUE TO THE MARKET
LOOK UP THE FORTUNE 500
HOW MANY PROVIDE SOFTWARE
Sean Connery was a Chad, but Anthony Bourdain was an oversocialized leftist who sold conformity as rebellion and killed himself because he was in a open relationship with a younger women and couldn’t stand her having sex with other men. Find a better role model.
Been brushing up on the discourse and I’ve decided that every single person is richer than me is a greedy bastard and every single person poorer than me is a loser. I and only I have the exact right amount of money.
America really is absurd, overnight a single company is worth more than Canada
If you can't get rich here, really wasn't meant to be
Even top 10% people are going to be worth tens of millions
Avoid anyone who complains like the plague, telling on themselves
Nope. This is good example of tweet that sounds like it makes sense to dumb people. Or “yap” that sounds insightful but isn’t.
Compartmenalized groups means you’re a complex person who can expand beyond most people. You are of many interests/capabilities, most people aren’t, so “not bringing your biz friends with your drinking friends” is basic social awareness. They’d have nothing to talk about.
If you’re even semi-unique, you will have compartmentalized friends. Some can go out at night with you, other’s can’t. Some can make money with you, others can’t. Some can do x,y,z, others can’t. You wouldn’t force these people together. Would just be awkward & nobody would have fun.
Compartmentalizing your friends just means you’re socially aware. It would literally be the opposite of wearing a mask, because you’re honest about the relationship. You’re just not bringing your drinking buddy to build your new startup with you.
To think “everyone should be able to do everything with you and if they can’t then that means you’re wearing masks and are inauthentic” is just a statement that has no basis in reality.
Be careful of bad ideas & what you accept as true, and why. They will just make you more confused. Need a filter.
