Question 1:
What is a moment from last season that stands out to you?
Response:
I think the moment that stands out to me the most is week 5 during are rivalry game against Madison. We came into the locker room down 20-0 and coach came in and just lit a fire underneath all of us. We proceeded to score 40 unanswered points and went on to win.
Question 2:
How do you describe your style of play?
Response:
My style of play is honestly pretty simple. Play as hard as possible. Knowing that I left everything I had out on the field no matter the outcome.
Question 3:
What was the highlight of the 2025 season?
Response:
The highlight of my 2025 season was our come back week 5. It was our homecoming and it was awesome to see the support from our community. It was truly a surreal feeling. Making a come back that big in front of our home crowd against our rival was something you dream of.
Question 4:
Other than your own, what stadium do you enjoy playing in the most?
Response:
This year we got the chance to travel to Eastern Pekin. I’ve never played a high school game in grass. That was probably my favorite field to play on.
Question 5:
Which road stadium is the toughest to play in?
Response:
The toughest road stadium I’d say was Columbus East my Sophomore year. On 3rd downs the blare music and try to make the atmosphere seem louder then what it is.
Question 6:
Best advice you have received about playing your position? Who gave it to you?
Response:
All of my coach’s are fantastic. They’d do anything for anybody on the team. The best mentor I’ve been able to be coached by is Coach Woolf. The best advice he’s given to me is make mistakes at 100%.
Question 7:
What is the best part of being a student athlete at your school?
Response :
The best part of being a student athlete are the friends you make along the way. It’s a great way to meet new people.
Question 8:
Favorite part of practice?
Response:
My favorite part of practice is inside run. Having the pressure to make the perfect block for my run back is my favorite.
Question 9:
Has the transfer portal made recruiting tougher for high school players?
Response:
The transfer portal has definitely made it somewhat harder for athletes in all sports. Football in particular coach’s prioritize stronger, faster, and players who have proved themselves. With the ability for coaches to find players who have the experience high schoolers don’t, it challenges high schoolers to find college options.
Question 10:
Favorite sports movie or show?
Response:
My favorite sports movie is Remember the Titans. The movie just really shows how a simple game can bring so many people together.
Question 11:
If you could sit down with any athlete for an hour, who would it be?
Response:
If I could sit down with any player I’d pick Quentin Nelson.
Got a chance to go 1 on 1 with noted @IndianaUniv Alum Mark Cuban ahead of tonight's #PeachBowl. He's fired up!
"This is just surreal. This is unbelievable. It's a credit to Coach Cig, Scott Dolson, Pam Whitten--the whole organization for putting it together."

Parents who sit alone aren’t avoiding people.
They are avoiding negativity, drama, and complaining.
They just want to watch their kid play… without the noise.

These kids have worked.
After dropping our HHC opener at Jeffersonville, the Lady Panthers battled to finish 5-1 and share the 2024-2025 HHC Conference title with the Floyd Central Lady Highlanders.
Since being a member of the Hoosier Hills Conference, this is only the 5th Lady Panther conference title and the first back-to-back since the 2002 season.
We will be back in action on Saturday at North Central (Indianapolis). JV tip is at 12PM.
After over a week off for weather, we returned for an outstanding week of Lady Panther Basketball:
• Varsity moved to 12-6 with HHC wins over Floyd Central & BNL. On Thursday, January 23, we will travel to Columbus East to compete for a share of the HHC conference title.
• Lady Panther junior, Mollie Ernstes, surpassed the 1,000-point milestone.
• JV moved to 13-4 with a win over Greenwood.
• JV RED picked up an HHC win over Floyd Central and will return to action on Monday at BNL.
Last night after our trip to Greenwood, we capped it off with a great meal at Taku.
2025. A New Year full of New Possibilities. New Challenges. New Goals.

We could not be happier for Lady Panther coach, Erika Grogg Brown who was inducted into her high school’s HOF this past weekend. We are so proud and blessed to have her!
Awesome day for Lady Panther Basketball! Our JV/Varsity squads played 4 combined games in the All-Star shootout, followed by lunch at Buca di Peppo. Finally, we ended the day watching Juliann Woodard earn MVP honors as the Indiana All-Stars swept the series!
