@Languages_MDPI Wondering: did you look at different (heritage) countries of origin when analyzing the data? Ex. Did some groups behave differently than others in terms of status and Spanish?
@SrMadel Ex. Use Slides/PPT: assign a slide too each person and ask them to introduce themselves through images (insert images). You can do something similar with Jam Board too. Polling is a good way to get people sharing opinions.
@SrMadel I'm actually co-presenting a workshop on this topic this week. Ice breaker for people you don't know or already know? Would you like an ice breaker that also introduces participates to certain tools on zoom (ex. Annotation)?
@adabel_sdsu@Momademia My little ones both had covid last spring and I distinctly remember one of them sneezing directly into my eye and yet I still didn't get covid. I feel like this is a medical mystery we need to explore.
@PhDMumLife @HappyHealthSci1 @Momademia@AcademicChatter Interesting... But honestly for the trade off I'd go with the articles. The structure of your dissertation is unlikely to impact your job prospects but having 3 articles published more quickly might.
@PhDMumLife @HappyHealthSci1 @Momademia@AcademicChatter In your field is it an option to set up your dissertation as 3 research articles? I always wished I had known about this/done this to graduate with 3 fairly well-formed manuscripts.
Unpopular opinion: coffee is a non-solution. I never drink coffee, but I was super tired today so I made myself a cup. I was still tired but just with a faster pulse. #Coffee#tired#sleep
@AlexUsherHESA There is no required time to complete. Length of a program and how long a person takes to compete a PhD are not the same thing. I did mine in 3 and a bit,but others in my program took 5.
