If any Christian tells you the work of justice is a “progressive liberal” idea, no. Justice is straight out of Scripture. Directly from God’s Word. Anybody who says it’s not biblical has carved their god into an idol of a flag, their politics, themselves.
Black people have a defiant spirit of laughter when it comes to dealing with pain because there has been so much of it. I don’t feel the need to elucidate that for you. But I also don’t mind being transparent and say that this was a very painful moment for me. On many levels.
So sad & disturbing. I 1000% stand w/Ukraine & am watching the war closely, hoping for the best for them.
I just wish we stood w/the rest of the world too. Esp. the Middle East :/
