Thursday we were back in school, but some still managed to fit in some rugby training, finishing up with a social evening with pipes, Currywurst and highland dancing, with @BlairgowriePE throwing in a ceilidh.

On Wednesday it was up into the Cairngorms for a guided tour by Rangers Lianne and Ben of the @MarLodgeNTS Estate to learn about their 200-year plan for regeneration.

On Tuesday we stayed in school, with pupils attending lessons and doing some work towards their
@ukgconnection project, who are helping to fund the exchange. Some got to take part in the HE department's Hospitality Takeover event @BHSHomeEc

This week we hosted 17 pupils from our German partner school Gemeinschaftsschule Bredstedt on the first leg of our exchange. On Sunday families showed them the sights...

S3 German and 1SB French have been doing the #GCHQChristmasChallenge @GCHQ today. S3 managed to crack the Cyber Security, Languages, Analysis, Codebreaking and Mathematics while the S1s finished the job with the Coding, Engineering and final tree puzzle. Christmas Greetings!

Today's Simple Act for #RefugeeWeek2022 was to plant sunflowers in the school garden and spider plants to give as gifts. Research shows that gardening improves emotional wellbeing https://t.co/ziCK9IeRRC so we saw the sun and headed to the garden. #SimpleActs

S3 German and Spanish learners enjoyed a very interesting and inspiring visit to GLD in Blairgowrie this week where they toured the company, heard from all the different departments how integral languages are to their business. #DYW @scottishcilt @CISSStrathclyde #languagesatbhs

And breathe - all our exams are now finished, with N5 and Higher German yesterday. Well done to all involved - the Higher German candidates were seen smiling yesterday afternoon - and rightly so. Happy Jubilee holiday one and all. Frohes Jubilaeum, Feliz fiesta, Joyeuse fete!
