This is a very different kind of coding agent swarm.

AgenC shipped a swarm upgrade for concurrent agents. The stack covers adaptive routing, atomic admission, durable outcomes, isolated execution, bounded context, and immutable integration evidence.

The /swarm router defaults to one agent and recommends fan-out only for explicitly parallel or independent work. It routes only the current runtime-owned human turn and fingerprints that input in the receipt. Stale transcript text and completion messages cannot recursively start another swarm.

A child is durably registered before it is live. Each assignment is atomically admitted to one idle worker with its own task_id and a fresh turn_id. Outcomes are written to the child journal before the parent is notified. A journal persistence failure fails closed. If teardown wins before execution starts, the accepted task gets a correlated NACK instead of silent loss.

Parallel writers run in spawn-unique Git worktrees. At completion, AgenC records the base commit, HEAD, tree hash, cleanliness, and ancestry, then checks for movement during capture. Only committed_clean work receives an integration_ref set to the exact immutable Git object ID. Dirty, diverged, or unverifiable work cannot be integrated, and that worker is not returned to the reusable pool.

Agent identities are runtime-authenticated. Mailboxes and model projection are independently bounded. Children start with clean context by default. Conversation history is an explicit dependency. Nothing auto-merges. Agent prose is not evidence. A branch name is not evidence. Completed is not merge authorization.
