LMFAO. since caiti provided evidence that i lied willfully to manipulate my fanbase into still supporting me, i’ll now be apologizing! fuck you dude. and fuck everyone defending george saying that the body language of a drunk girl 8 years younger with 100x less power was enough.
@solarkarii the arguing of “oh well actually it couldve been consent bc it was just non verbal!” and entirely ignoring or glossing over the fact that drunk people Legally (not even morally! LEGALLY.) cannot consent is. miserable and manipulative and deeply evil
(just to be clear. clear enough is in quotes because i firmly disagree with the idea that body language can be considered full and enthusiastic consent, ESPECIALLY between people who do not know each other very well.)
she was drunk. she did not Say Yes. if you think body language is enough for INFORMED and CLEAR consent you’re sick. it is the responsibility of the initiating party to GUARANTEE consent. fuck this entire response but especially fuck this.
EVEN if her body language was “clear enough” she was inebriated. full stop. i shouldn’t even have to sit here and argue the semantics or validity of nonverbal cues because DRUNK PEOPLE CANNOT CONSENT.
I don’t think people realize how long it can actually take you to realize you’ve been sexually assaulted . It can literally take years in some cases. Thats not people changing their minds maliciously, that’s people undoing internalized victim blaming.
the reality of sexual assault is that sometimes you dont realize you were taken advantage of yet. sometimes it takes weeks and months and years for you to be able to reach a stable point and acknowledge it. its scary to confront that. scary to tell people that it happened to you
