These WhatsApp messages, allegedly sent by the then State Intelligence Service (SIS) Director to the Defence Secretary ahead of the Easter Sunday attacks, have resurfaced after a Sri Lankan court sentenced former Defence Secretary Hemasiri Fernando and former IGP Pujith Jayasundara to death over their failure to act on intelligence warnings.
