You have no business with white and feathers after what you did in that movie! 😂🔥 Your background should be hellfire 🤣however you nailed that role. What a performance! You owned every scene. 👏
I believe he has learnt his lesson, and going forward, I think his films will become blockbusters. Just like Fm, Toyin, and co, he has set a standard for himself, and there is no going back from here. D expectations are now higher, and he has to keep delivering. What a film! 🔥👏
@lanrey_salami That's because he didn't allow himself alone to direct the movie. In his previous movies he was so greedy that he took most of the roles
People didn’t take him seriously because of his previous film, but honestly, this is Odun’s best movie ever! Everything was on point. the storyline, acting, production, and delivery. He absolutely nailed it this time. 👏
I can still remember when WARLORD Olori Ogun by Odunlade Adekola hit the cinemas last year, it didn't get the attention it deserved. Instead, it was met with a lot of negative comments.
Now the same movie is showing on KAVA and all the reviews I'm seeing are positive. So where are those people who were badmouthing the movie then? Did they even go to the cinema to watch it at all?
Egbon Odun take your flowers 🌹 you really finish work on this.
ON WHETHER FAILURE TO REPAY LOAN AMOUNTS TO A CRIME.
The failure to repay a loan or any part of it contrary to a loan agreement creates a debt recoverable by civil proceedings and not by criminal proceedings. There is no law where a breach of an agreement between two parties which has no element of criminality can result in a criminal charge and subsequent conviction. At best, it can be breach of a contractual relationship which the criminal law lacks legal capacity or competence to enforce and punish.
The failure to repay a loan or any part of it contrary to a loan agreement does not create a basis for reasonable suspicion that a crime has been committed by the debtor and is not a valid basis for the initiation of any form of criminal process against the debtor. The arrest, detention, prosecution and trial of a debtor for breach of a loan agreement under any guise are illegal.
See the case of Nwaoboshi v. FRN (2023) 16 NWLR. (Pt. 1911).
The Applicant is a law graduate and not a lawyer yet . He instituted this action in his name and he is representing himself .
Can’t wait to see the end of the case
In UGBAH v. UGBAH (2026) 4 NWLR (Pt. 2035), the Supreme Court held that a woman can file a standalone action for maintenance for herself and that of her children without necessarily suing for divorce or nullity of the marriage.
The Court held that a woman is entitled to maintenance upon her marriage to a man, regardless of the type of marriage, whether Islamic, Customary, or Statutory. The right to maintenance of both the wife and children can be enforced if a man willfully neglects to maintain them.
In this case, the respondent, as the defendant at the trial court, challenged the appellant, as the plaintiff, for filing an action for maintenance by way of writ of summons. They contended that the appellant ought to have commenced the action under the Matrimonial Causes Act by way of a petition for divorce and then included prayers for maintenance in the divorce petition. The trial court dismissed the Preliminary Objection. Upon appeal to the Court of Appeal, the appeal was allowed, and the Court of Appeal held that the action ought to have been commenced by way of a petition.
Being dissatisfied, the Appellant appealed further to the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court finally settled this issue and held that a woman need not file for divorce before seeking maintenance for herself and her children. A woman may not want to be divorced “legally” and may simply want to claim maintenance. Therefore, arguing that a woman must first file a petition and then include maintenance as a relief is a way of forcing women to divorce their husbands before they can obtain maintenance.
As it stands now, the law is now settled that a woman does not have to divorce her husband before she can seek maintenance for herself and her children. She can remain married, live apart from her husband and still enforce her right and that of her children to maintenance in court.
Thank you.

I was before the Federal High Court today to argue a Motion Ex Parte for substituted service and I met exactly what I was prepared for.
Normally, the popular/common practice is that before you bring an application for substituted service, you must have attempted personal service and if unsuccessful, then the bailiff/sheriff of the court will depose to affidavit of non-service, which will be exhibited or attached to the application.
Even though, the rules recognise an instance where you need not have made attempts to personal service, most judges have the disposition towards ensuring that personal service is attempted before filing MEP. Also, for substituted service, the usual mode is by pasting or delivery via post or email.
But in my own case, I have not attempted personal service, so no affidavit of non-service was filed; and I did not desire to serve by pasting or delivery via post or email; instead, I wanted to serve a customer of a bank through the bank.
When I attempted to move the application, the Court was reluctant, and asked why I was bringing such an application to serve a customer of a bank through the bank. In response, I simply told the court that: the purpose of service is to bring the pendency of the suit to the attention of the customer, who is a party to the suit, and it is the bank who knows the address of the customer and can effectively bring the pendency of the suit to the customer. So it is only appropriate and the most practicable option is to serve the customer through the bank.
After some moments, my lord was convinced, asked that I moved the application and granted as prayed.
Hmmmm… if I say what’s on my mind, I might be tempted to text her. But honestly, there’s just a different kind of taste to this thing. Some girls have honey in their own. 😂
Master of Laws programs in Canada are well funded. I've hardly supported or met an LLM student here who didn't get one scholarship or the other.
If you are considering an LLM, here are some Canadian schools where students I know got scholarships.

All the best.
You don't have to support the present administration, but you don't have to be stupid either. It's unfortunate that people keep giving him the visibility and attention he clearly want. https://t.co/t2DlmHU7Ls
