We have two female NYSC corps members serving in our Office.

One is very friendly. She greets everyone, gets along with the staff, and people genuinely enjoy working with her.

The other can be quite rude. Staff members complain about her attitude regularly.

They’ll be passing out soon, and our boss asked HR to evaluate them because he wants to retain only one person.

The rude one is exceptionally smart. She joined the marketing department and has already closed a deal, while the friendly one is still learning and trying to figure out the job.

If they retain the rude one, she’ll likely produce great results, but her attitude is a major concern.

HR asked everyone for their opinion. Out of 10 staff members, 8 said they shouldn’t retain her. One person even volunteered to train the friendly one. 😂

Character is everything.

28 years ago today, on July 7, he passed away from a heart attack while imprisoned by Sani Abacha for ~4 years without access to proper medical care at a government guesthouse in Abuja.

He was the 23rd child of his father. He, himself went on to have about 55 children.

At age 19, MKO joined Herbert Macaulay’s political party, the NCNC.

By age 55, he was elected President of Nigeria.

He earned a 1st Class degree in Accounting from Glasgow University and qualified with distinction as a Chartered Accountant.

His first job? A bank clerk at Barclays Bank in Ibadan.

In 15 years, he had become Chairman and 49% owner of the Nigerian subsidiary of the American telecommunications conglomerate ITT.

Gbajabiamila wrote to the DG DSS and Police in October 2025 and got Adeniyi arrested. He wrote again to both agencies a couple of months ago when he got information that the notorious Adeniyi was still parading himself as DG. When these agencies weren't handling the matter as they should, He then put a disclaimer in the dailies by himself to shield and protect the government from Adeniyi's scams.
