Sounds like Sen John Cornyn keeps cancelling meetings with Acting AG Todd Blanche. Is he punishing Pres Trump because he backed his opponent Ken Paxton in the primary & Paxton beat Cornyn? Or is he actively subverting this nomination & creating govt paralysis? Intentionally? That is a Marxist tactic. Maybe it’s both. Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear gave Mitch McConnell an ultimatum amid the senator's health mystery, demanding he prove he’s still capable of serving in the U.S. Senate - or step down.

“It has now been 43 days since news of your hospitalization,” Beshear wrote to McConnell. “During that time you have cast zero votes, engaged in no official activities, and aside from two photos and corresponding statements, have made no effort to communicate with your Kentucky constituents or the nation."

"Even the attending physician’s written statement does not discuss your actual condition, including whether you can speak, reason, or carry out your duties as a senator.”

84-year-old McConnell was hospitalized in Washington in mid-June.

Once you realize that someone can spend an entire year profiting from the public destruction of a grieving widow (a widow of someone they claim was a friend) you realize just how dark the human heart can become when it abandons truth, conscience, and repentance.

The older I get, the less I underestimate humanity’s capacity for self-deception. Evil rarely announces itself as evil. It usually claims to be righteous or “just asking questions.”

That’s why discernment is not optional. Reading Scripture and praying daily is not optional. Practicing gratitude daily is not optional. And being blessed enough to have people in your life who will hold you accountable if you wake up one day and become demonic is also not optional.

Senate Majority Leader John Thune has not allowed President Trump to make a single recess appointment. Why is that? It’s funny because I never thought my faith needed to be strengthened. I believed it was already solid. But over the past year, I have learned and grown so much, not only in my opinions, but in my relationship with God.

My faith has been tested, refined, and solidified in ways I did not know were possible. I honestly thought I could not become more certain than I already was. Silly me. That was pride.
