In Japan, "The Holdovers" was released in theaters around June this year. I missed it back then and even forgot to pick up the Blu-ray, but I noticed it was on Amazon Prime and finally got to watch it. Just as the reviews said, it’s a wonderful film. It’s filled with a kind of warmth and nostalgia that feels rare in today’s world. I’d love to include it in my "Top 12 Movies of 2024," but since I’ve already submitted that list, I’ll just make this post instead. Highly recommended👍
