Overnight, the OCB HMTF made 9 arrests for copper wire theft and related crimes including attempt theft of another ATT telephone overhead line. @ATT fixed the damage to this critical network and restored service. @LAPDHQ @lapdcarranza @kdeleon

Last night, OCB HMTF nabbed two copper theft suspects after they knocked down a power pole & took over 610 feet of ATT telcom wire. Over 100k in damage to a critical network. One suspect was arrested in March by the Task force for burglary tools and a stolen van. @LAPDHQ

The @DowntownDCBID and @southparkla community’s have experienced an increase in violence. This is yet another gun taken off the streets by @LAPDCentralArea Gang Unit. This makes FIVE guns for the week! Amazing work but also extremely concerning that so many guns r on the streets

The @LAPDCentralArea Gang Unit arrested a man in possession of this gun in Skid Row after he crashed his car and ran from ofcrs. This same person was arrested by the Gang Unit just last week for...you guessed it... possession of a gun.

Last night a car stop was made, a struggle ensued with the driver, who gripped the officers holstered gun and fired a round. In the car was a loaded .40 cal and 46 grams of cocaine packaged for sale. My brothers and sisters, you are desperately needed. God bless the peacekeepers.
