A Home Visitor did a variety of age-appropriate holiday projects with her families. The older kiddos had a blast painting salt-dough ornaments and the younger kiddos painted on their tummies. Check out these little artists and their awesome works of art! #headstart

Kids at the Mora Center explored the question: "Do all round things roll?" Students were given a variety of materials, made predictions and tested each item. Then the teachers made pancakes for snack and we tested if pancakes could roll, all while enjoying a delicious snack!

Apples were the theme for this week, and for the first day of fall, Evee painted an apple with an apple! We also worked on recognizing/naming the colors red, yellow, and green. Happy Fall, everyone! #headstart#headstartstrong#buildingbrightfutures
Summer at Mora Center was filled with water activities as students learned about different bodies of water. Students created water-gun art, made tie-dye shirts, made a paper jellyfish, and played in water every Friday! When the weather was too hot, they enjoyed water-themed yoga!
Gage learned about gardening, living and non-living things, and healthy eating (as demonstrated in the photo 🤣). He loves to be creative with different types of paint and painting techniques and enjoys mixing ingredients to make his own paint. He creates new colors, too!
Isaiah had a blast rolling different things down the slide, tossing rocks into puddles, and using a stick to splash water and draw letters, working his large-motor skills AND teaching him problem solving and cause and effect. PLAY is an incredible source of learning and growth!
