Alhaitham going from outright demanding praise from Kaveh to ending the quest by helping Kaveh with his most immediate concern, and thus righting the immediate wrongs in his life feels like development on his part.
Lovely to see them still thriving, and all the screentime was truly wonderful. All the callbacks to Kaveh's character story, his box of possessions from the hangout, and most importantly his confession that he relies on suffering for his art all made it beautiful.
At the same time, he rises above it. In denying himself the title of Benevolent Knight, he frees himself from the expectations it entails,
granting himself the flexibility to surpass those constraints. (4/4) π
So much of Lohen's content, be it his companion dialogue, story quest, or general dialogue is centered entirely on the knights. This is significant because Lohen as a whole lends legitimacy to the Knights of Favonius. (1/4)
