Monday Playbook || Week 7

Bitcoin is sitting at the exact level where patience gets tested.

Breakout → everyone gets bullish.
Failed breakout → liquidity gets swept.

But if $BTC can reclaim resistance and hold it for two weekly closes, the entire thesis changes.

Here’s what I’m watching this week:

➬ Funding Rate & Open Interest

With the gap filled immediately after the sharp dip we saw previously, the derivatives market has generally maintained a long-biased positioning regime over the past several weeks.

While the latest section of the open interest chart shows us trending upward from the July lows, although it remains well below the $200B+ levels seen at the peak.

➬ Stablecoin Inflows

Just like that after seeing some little gains in the market from last week, the stablecoins marketcap is seeing some improvement.

About 0.44% inflow has been recorded in the last 7 days equating to $1.312b even though still lower to the 0.83% outflow we experienced.

➬ Bitcoin chart

The move higher continues to lack convincing volume, and that’s keeping my conviction low although $56.5K remains my invalidation.

As long as BTC holds above it, I’m willing to stay patient and watch the setup develop.

I still see a potential opportunity around $61K–$59K, but I’m not convinced BTC has earned the breakout yet.

➬ Ethereum chart

I’m not chasing the upside. I’m waiting for price to come to me. The $1,578 order carries less weight for me, so I’m treating it as a secondary opportunity rather than a level I need to see.

Primary buy zone: $1,690–$1,640 FVG
Secondary bid: $1,578
Invalidation: $1,500 close

The idea is simple: price fills the FVG, shakes out weak positioning, onboards fresh buyers, and then resumes higher.

➬ ETH/BTC ratio

I think there’s still room for the pair to push toward 0.03246, but I’m not interested in chasing the move here.

There’s been a clear change of character to the upside, and the structure is now favoring the bulls.

For maximum upside on the trade, I’m waiting for a retracement into the demand block I’ve marked.

➬ USDT dominance

There has been a consolidation here in the last few days. Usually, a bigger move does always happen after every choppy move like this.

The downtrend is still in play, and any retracement will see here is to compliment the Bitcoin and Ethereum charts I analyzed earlier

➬ Final Outlook

I don’t see us out of the woods yet because this price action honestly lacks volume and we need to close above the equal highs liquidity.

DCA still makes the most sense here. I’ll continue scaling through the two buy levels outlined above rather than trying to time the exact bottom.

The thesis remains bullish; I’m simply expecting the market to give us better entries before the next leg higher.
