PASO ROBLES: RAVEN RANCH
Places like this remind me just how magnificent California is. We can't let the Sacramento machine destroy it!
When I'm governor, the Central Coast will be a place where people can start a business, raise a family, buy a home.

He wanted it. He worked for it. He earned it, And now he's learning how to fix it.
He's only 5, already learning one of life's biggest lessons, you don't have to be handed everything you want. You work hard, learn how things are done, take care of what you have, and when something breaks, you don't just throw up your hands. You learn, you try, and you fix it. โ๏ธ
Why did I decide to run for governor?
I sat through countless meetings in Sacramento. Everyone agreed on the problem, most even agreed on the solution. But the answer was always the same: NO.
That was the conversation over enchiladas with Johnny and his family in Temecula ๐
Great day yesterday with the Patriots for Freedom at their Summer Picnic in San Diego.
These are the real patriots who know the true value of freedom โ and theyโre done with the madness destroying California.

@SpeakerMcCarthy Berry creek Ca is so ever thankful to our vary own LaMalfa he will be heavly missed by our community as he was one for all the communities in his district he would come shake your hand at any community event and always made sure he listened to any problems heโs the best RIP
I am profoundly heartbroken to hear of the passing of my close friend, Congressman Doug LaMalfa. Before serving together in Congress, we werenโt just colleagues in the California State Legislature, we were roommates.
Doug was first and foremost a devoted husband and father, inspired by his Christian faith and values to make the lives of others better. Many will remember him as a principled legislator, but he was also a commonsense rice farmer through and through, spending his time in Congress fighting for family farms on agriculture, water, and resource issues, as well as working to eliminate government waste like Californiaโs high-speed rail.
Always thoughtful and affable, Doug was the unanimous choice of his colleagues to lead the Western Caucus in Congress. He will be truly missed. I share my prayers and condolences with Jill, their children, their entire family, and the entire LaMalfa team during this most difficult time.
Iโm deeply saddened by the passing of my colleague, Doug LaMalfa. For more than a decade, Doug made a lasting impact on Californiaโs First Congressional District and served as a dedicated champion for the West as Chairman of the Western Caucus. He was a strong advocate for agriculture and natural resources, and his leadership and presence in Congress will be truly missed. I extend my deepest condolences to his wife Jill, their four children, and all who had the privilege of working alongside him.
This is devastating. Doug and I came to Congress in the same class. He was a dear friend who loved people and NASCAR. He would go on forever about drivers and how he liked Bill Elliott from my home district of GA.
Lisa and I will keep his family and the precious memories in our thoughts and prayers.
I will miss my fellow member of the Doug caucus.
