Last Friday, I attended Burlington Consensus 3 (@RoySocChem) on policy making. This is an attempt to understand if I want to explore this topic in the future. I'm not convinced yet, but the lecture by Sir Geoff Mulgan, UCL was inspiring to explore the topic further!

My fossil hunting on the Jurassic Coast at Lyme Regis. 1. I cracked this stone and saw a whole collection of fossilized shells and corals; 2. Maybe it is an ancient shell or something else; it is just a little piece of a big fossil; 3. Almost whole ammonite, very cool.

Yesterday, I visited the Linnean Society and the exhibition devoted to Alfred Russel Wallace. Wow, they have so many cool books. I saw a book about dinosaurs published in the 1850s and many more.
