The conference ended with the Scottish Government ‘Let’s Talk Education’ Survey.
Pupils worked in teams giving their input in the National Discussion on the future of Scottish education. Through an interactive workshop pupils fed back their voice on the matter within the survey!
The second part of the conference introduce MyWOW Ambassadors and the opportunitIes available for LAPP pupils to become ambassadors to upscale pupil voice in faculties with a DYW twist 🗣
One activity today provided pupils with the opportunity to look at learner engagement and establish what are the key components to a good lesson. Pupils came up with the criteria for a good lesson and ranked them in a diamond 9 formation.

Our first annual Pupil Parliament Conference took place today celebrating 1 year of LAPP 🎂
What a year it has been! 130 pupils represent our Faculty Improvement Teams and 70 pupils for our groups and committees (Eco/RRSA/Anti-bullying).

This week it is an opportunity for new Pupil Parliament pupils to meet the team and work together to set unique objectives for the year linked to their faculty while working with their link teacher to share their voice!@Linlithgow_Acad

Pupil Parliament popped into P7 transition classes this afternoon to talk to them about their experiences within Pupil Parliament and the opportunities to share their voice across the school.

Our reps have been focusing on questioning in lessons by putting on their ethnography hats and gathering a range of different types of questioning taking place in lessons @Linlithgow_Acad
Our Pupil Parliament @LATechnologies1 reps completed some fieldwork this week in the faculty by completing pupil learning rounds focusing on questioning.
Our S1 pupils in Food Tech enjoyed having some senior pupils in class and chatting to them about their experiences!
