This is how I lost my virginity.

I was 19.

It wasn't with my boyfriend.

It wasn't planned.

I had been dating this guy for almost a year.

He was kind, patient, and always said, "I'll wait until you're ready."

That made me trust him even more.

One weekend, he invited me to celebrate his birthday at his friend's apartment.

There were only a few people there.

Music, food, laughter...

Nothing felt strange.

Later that night, everyone started leaving.

He asked if I could stay a little longer because he wanted us to talk.

We sat on the couch for hours.

He held my hand and told me how much he loved me.

He promised I was the woman he wanted to marry.

One kiss became another.
