Enfim. As pessoas precisam parar de banalizar as coisas. Isso vai muito além de "meu corpo, minhas regras".
had a guy ask me the infamous 'What do you bring to the table?' question within five minutes of sitting down. He had this smug look on his face like he just trapped me in a debate.
So I looked at the empty table between us, looked at him, and said, 'Right now? I'm bringing the entire conversation, because you haven't said a single interesting thing since we met. What exactly do you lack as a man that you need a woman to bring something to your table anyway?'
He completely froze. He literally couldn't find his words. I just smiled, stood up, and said, 'Let me know when you figure it out.' and walked out.
you cannot romanticize this shit in a third world country where commuting means having to endure the heat, wait for a long time, and risk ur health and safety in overcrowded public transports
“i like you, but i like myself more” is how i live my life
i’ll always think about my best interests before i give you a second look and tbh? it’s the best thing ever
“you think the world is full of women dying to ride on your white horse, but those cinderella stories aren't popular anymore. in the real world, the world is filled with women who work hard and succeed on their own. so take your glass shoes, and feed them to dogs.” -choi aera
It's an open secret. The most sinister thing I've heard is that they use rats bathed in kerosene to start the fire. The rats will run as they burn, making the fire spread faster. That's the government and private sector for you.
BREAKING:
The US and Israel dropped bombs on an elementary school for girls in Iran’s city of Minab.
36 little girls have been killed so far.
People are still pulling bodies from under the rubble.
Not militants. Not combatants.
Little girls. Students.
This is terrorism.
its heartbreaking how some people wake up worried about coffee orders while others wake up worried about survival. the privilege of safety is invisible until you don’t have it. my heart aches for anyone who has to pray for protection simply because of their identity, their religion, race, ethnicity. and to the leaders who think the fires they spark “far away” won’t reach them: fire doesn’t discriminate. it burns everything in its path. sending so much love and strength to my people who are in war zones rn
Before you get your “WW3” jokes off—people will die. People will die from US made bombs while we sit untouched and watch through our phones. That is the problem. That is why your joke isn’t fucking funny. Keep it.
