@_TommyMason In our industry the managerial path has been clearly defined for years, whereas the individual contributor path seemed to die at the Principal level. Lots of great designers have had to stop to do what they’re best for to grow career wise (aka $$$). We need to change this

You look at the spacing. and you see it's 10px instead of 8px and you see someone that you know, and they ask you how you are, and you just have to say that you're fine, when you're not really fine, but you just can't get into it because they would never understand.

@iamsteelen I just can’t help but think that whiteboard sessions are harder for introverts and people who benefit from thinking things through, so not super inclusive IMO. But agree that home tasks are a huge commitment. I wonder if there might be something in between that we’re missing
