May you have so much work that you secretly fall asleep from it. May you eat delicious food without having to worry about the price. May you always meet good people. May whatever you think of come true just the way you hope.
Happy Birthday.”

Talk about the origin of "Can we please look at each other a little?", which Liew has shared before in his recent TT Live

🎤 There's a lot of mommies. But some have switched from being Bever's mommies to Bever's faen (lover). But Tonliew won't back down at all of course. They can just look, right, dear?
🌱 That goes without saying

👤: Did you check the feedbacks/reviews from the yukata scene?
🦫: A lot, actually. People are talking about it on every platform. Everyone gave great responses to the us and also said things like 'Where does P' Fah get that hungry look from?' and 'Doesn't P' Fah ever eat? He looks hungry all the time.'
🌱: P'Fah does look hungry all the time.
🦫: Yeah, it feels like we really got through. Everyone seems to believe in what we're portraying, so it feels really happy.

Reframing the First Kiss: Intimacy and Consent in Khemjira
This scene remains my favorite moment between Pharan and Khem, sending shivers through me even now, as I write this analysis.
This is far more than just a romantic beat or a long-awaited first kiss. It is a beautiful moment of emotional and ethical reconstruction, a careful “reworking” of everything that preceded it. I want to say that the evening of their first kiss truly can’t be considered without the scene that happened between the characters the previous evening.
That fragility is exactly what makes the scene feel so powerful: one wrong move could have broken the trust completely. The direction clearly understands this risk.
Before this moment, there was a failure. Pressure was applied. Fear entered the space. An imbalance of experience and power shaped the interaction. Crucially, the series refuses to romanticize that earlier encounter. Instead, it frames it as a rupture! A traumatic breaking point after which it becomes impossible to simply move forward. That memory is not erased, it lingers, shaping everything that follows.
The imbalance between the characters was shown in everything last evening: in the moment when Khem is pressed against the table by Pharan, in the fact that he ends up physically lower, sitting on that same table in front of a leaning shaman. It’s there in the colors of their clothes, and even in the graphic print on Khem’s T-shirt, which visually sets him in contrast to the seriousness of Pharan!
Everything in those scenes screams that the dynamic is different.
I will repeat it again and again: this is not a continuation, it is a correction. A deliberate attempt to begin again, properly.
The decision to return to the same location, the kitchen, is so powerful… It is the site of the earlier violation, now reimagined. No longer a place of pressure, it transforms into a space of care, of conversation, of safety.

🦆: Normally, Keng’s family video-call each other every day. Basically, in the evening my mom will video call and be like, “Oh! Have you eaten yet?”
👤: Do you speak in Northern Thai?
🦆: Yeah, we do.
🐰: No, no, not just Northern Thai. It’s actually a level beyond that, because even Namping don’t fully understand some of it.
🦆: It’s an ethnic language. Keng is from the Tai Lue ethnic group.
👤: So they have their own language, right?
🦆: Yeah, it has its own language
🗣️: But is it close to Thai?
🦆: It’s pretty close to Northern Thai in general.
🗣️: Let Namping say one sentence that’s different
🐰 *speaks in Central Thai*: Today I didn’t go anywhere at all, I only went to work
(Then 🐰 said the same sentence but in Northern Thai. Next, Keng said that sentence but in Tai Lue langue- his ethnic language)
