Charity founder of @SnowdropProject, speaker, adventurer, actress, human rights advocate - embracing a life of faith, expecting the unexpected. Views my own.
The time has come for the Snowdrop Project to find its future without @LaraSnowdrop at the helm, as she goes on to discover her next venture.

With 100 million displaced people in the world,
700,000 more in the last month in #Sudan, I want to see my country leading the international campaign to tackle root causes. Not scapegoating vulnerable people. We are better, much better than that.

Disappointing, dangerous and factually wrong. @SuellaBraverman, speak to British survivors @SnowdropProject support in recovery or those exploited on domestic workers visas. Trafficking is a crime against a person & should stay on the safeguarding agenda.

⭐️ We are looking for 2-3 new trustees to join our trustee board!⭐️
We particularly welcome applications from individuals with: lived experience of trafficking; knowledge of fundraising strategy; and expertise in the anti-trafficking sector.

@Noelinho It really is so brave. He could easily have chosen to only reveal this to his family and friends but he chose to go public to help so many others and to highlight the issue, I can only hope that it will start to change some hearts, minds and attitudes, particularly in the HO
1/ I cannot underestimate the bravery and significance of @Mo_Farah coming forwards today. The fear he speaks about in revealing the truth is echoed by many that @SnowdropProject support. Trafficking creates trauma, fear of the consequences of disclosing and distrust of people.
Through this documentary I have been able to address and learn more about what happened in my childhood and how I came to the UK. I'm really proud of it and hope you will tune into @BBC at 9pm on Weds to watch.
4/There are many hidden voices of those who are trafficked whether from abroad or the UK. I encourage anyone who heard Mo’s story to engage in the topic, learn the impact of trauma and the indicators, because you never know, maybe one day, you will be someone else’s ‘P.E teacher’
3/ but should be making every effort to support, believe and understand. Only this type of environment will actually make our country more hostile to the perpetrators rather than the victims. I hope todays story will encourage a more compassionate environment around disclosure
@That_Kiwi_Girl @AGirlWorthMore@kategarbers@WestMidsASN@HFJ_UK@RachelDaniW@andyw1 @NHerbert95 @That_Kiwi_Girl I'd be confused too. Guessing in my suggestion as it is confusing. Is MSRT the Reach-In team? If so, it may be the organisation decided to have reach-in with 2 types of support (low & high). If so, the contract won't give access until the RNA has ended. Free to PM
@That_Kiwi_Girl @AGirlWorthMore@kategarbers@WestMidsASN@HFJ_UK@RachelDaniW@andyw1 @NHerbert95 Hi @That_Kiwi_Girl, it's so tricky when support workers leave and there isn't a handover! I know hestia has their own post-CG support service called 'Phoenix project' that isn't connected to the MSVCC. It might be that?
