@DannyShireyPGH Passing lane to Sheary is clogged whereas passing lane to Ovi is open. Pass may have gotten through to Sheary anyway, but Ovi's lane is wide open and he's automatic from there. I see your points and Peterson is very much to blame too, but IMO, Poehling should choose to cover Ovi
@TaylorHaasePGH@foxesdps I get it and appreciate the response. That being said, having an extra $2mm of space would go a long way in creating flexibility for call-ups. Having sub $1mm players (ZAR, DOC, Zohorna,) instead of Kap or McGinn (both GMRH signings), wouldn't materially hurt the team IMO.
@HunterHodies Most people critical of the deal weren't concerned about games 1-3 of year 1. They were concerned about 4 years for an older injury prone player who lacks the training regimen of 87/58. I don't think it is fair to conclude it is a good (or bad) signing 3 games into season 1 of 4.
@cliffordlevy@edkshanahan Who exactly is reporting rat sightings? Are people actually calling 311 every time they see a rat? What do they think such a call to 311 will accomplish?
@jmarshfof@AlecLucas11 When the Pens played poorly this year, they got pushed around in front of their own net. During those stretches, Peterson seemed to get outmuscled in front more than his fair share.
