@EarringsLost@andrewellson@TwofeetgoodSE21 As a SE Londoner now living in W Ldn, I had a Quick Look as I was surprised by that. Looks like Lambeth council hasn’t been fully Tory since 1968 (well before my time!) 🤷🏽♂️
@EarringsLost@andrewellson@TwofeetgoodSE21 Not quite the same thing. In Ealing, Labour are so well entrenched that it won’t happen. Even if another party promised to remove LTNs, folk wouldn’t change their national allegiances. They did lose lots of votes (inc mine to LD), and that saw them remove the LTN I lived in
@EarringsLost@andrewellson Not necessarily. Folk often cant separate local from national political allegiances. Having a manifesto point that includes LTNs amongst a raft of other things doesn’t mean wholesale support of LTNs. When you consult on them alone, that would be more representative
@Simplisafe_UK announcing a 12% price increase when current rate is 4% is a bad look. Think it might be time to explore other smart home alarm options!
@Ryanair FR8163 apparently delayed due to a technical issue. Zero updates, families queuing at the gate for seemingly no reason. Any ideas what’s happened and when it might be resolved?
BRING 'EM DOWN!
London’s fares, the highest in the world. Lower fares increase public transport use, provide more choice when travelling, enable more people to access jobs & especially assist those on low incomes. The extra revenue would cut subsidies.
