He's dead right. Ref yesterday was awful & ultimately had a huge influence on the result. The problem with " letting it flow " means there'll be issues with consistency of the rules being enforced. Not good enough when players give up so much to play our games.

Dublin camogie team came out to play Kilkenny in shorts.

Dublin had to return to the dressing room after match officials threatened abandon the game if Dublin players didn’t change from shorts into the skort…

Kilkenny and Dublin camogie players both decided to wear shorts ahead of today's Leinster semifinal to protest the wearing of skorts.

The video below shows the players heading back into the dressing room to put on skorts. They were told by officials the match would be abandoned if they tried to wear shorts.

This week, the GPA released a press release saying 83% wanted the option of choosing whether they'd wear shorts or skorts.
