Aleister Crowley was NOT a theurgist. He was a Satanist.

You cannot proclaim yourself a theurgist and then proceed to place The Beast on the level of the Chaldean oracles and the mystery schools of antiquity, the faith of our European ancestors.

The goal of theurgy is to elevate oneself, to become worthy of the gods. Crowley's goal was to invoke dark forces that would grant him power on Earth.

The purpose of initiation is to break the seals of magic so as not to fall into the fallacies of atheistic and demonic magic. The first ritual Crowley performed in his life was necromantic, with the objective of binding the spirits of the astral plane, and from then on, he never stopped. Thanks to this postmodern equation of everything "magical" is good and all its figures as acceptable or "wise," regardless of the forces they serve, many of us in the 80s, 90s, and 2000s entered magic through the wrong door.

I was unfortunately ordered as a Thelema priestess, so I'm not fooled by these whitewashings of Crowley's intentions. He wasn't a believer, he wasn't devoted to the gods, and his goal was to master the power of evil.

Part of my work as an initiated theurgist, who found the path of the Goddess and saved her immortal soul, is precisely to inform people that the two paths are not the same, so that fewer souls fall for these deceptions.

Crowley wasn't a theurgist. High ceremonial magic is NOT theurgy. And no one who follows Crowley's path follows the Path of the Goddesses.
You have to choose: either power or humility before ontological power. Crowley chose power. We theurgists choose humility.
The demons will try to deceive you, but there is only one path to divinity.

The situation is so much more desperate than you probably realize.

University professors are saying they're now unable to teach history because reading long books and passages is how a person learns history. Their students are simply incapable of reading more than a few pages.

Some classes don't assign any reading at all now, only lectures.

There is an assumption among the people managing this decline that reading is just a way of receiving information. It isn't. Proper reading is how we build the mental muscle to synthesize ideas and evaluate them.

If the catastrophic decline in reading and literacy is not addressed now, we risk losing everything. This is civilizational.

Western civilization cannot survive the death of reading because it was built by people with the kind of cognitive depth that a culture of deep reading brings:

Complex reasoning, extended internal dialogue, the capacity to hold opposing ideas in tension. Our systems and institutions are complex, and they require well ordered minds to maintain them.

Reading forms minds, and the West was built by the richest minds in history. We must continue to form new minds in this same model if we're going to keep it.
