Some inspiring Ausie tech news in these diffuclt days.
❤️ A heartwarming video of one of our permanent voice loss patients using Laronix #AVAVoice has reached 40 million views on Instagram (that's the population of a small country ❤️), and we were delighted to speak with the amazing team at @ABCNews about it.
#AVAVoice is the first product we have released at Laronix. We have more advanced designs on the way, including #Miravoice and #LaronixVoiceAI, developed in collaboration with the @GoogleStartups AI Accelerator program.
We will share more about these in the meantime, but please join us to enjoy this beautiful moment @MiltonDickMP, @EdHusicMP_, @COHORT_SPACE, @IndustryGovAu.
At Laronix, our mission is clear: to help people experiencing voice loss speak again.
One of the most urgent and often overlooked forms of voice loss occurs in intensive care settings, where over 40% of the 6 million US patients admitted to the ICU each year are unable to voice and communicate effectively - often described as one of the most distressing parts of their care. ICU voiceloss also places a significant burden on healthcare systems due to miscommunication, contributing to billions of dollars in annual costs.
In response, Laronix has partnered with the Milton J. Dance Jr. Head and Neck Center at @GBMCHealthcare, one of the best voice research centers in the US, and a clinical study has now been launched to evaluate #MIRAVoice™, our next-generation artificial larynx already helping people with permanent voice loss, for use in intensive care settings.
We look forward to the opportunity to work with the #GBMC team and develop a solution for this critical problem.

@jfudge Hi James. We are friends from Laronix, and we are truly sorry to see that you will soon lose your voice. We know firsthand how voice loss can affect our lives. If we may, we wanted to say there is good news, and there are ways we can help you regain your voice. Our best wishes for you and your family. Stay well and we wish you a speedy recovery.
Well, it's time to pause and get ready for my laryngectomy next week. I'll be taking a break from @TEAdvocated starting March 1. See you on the other side of this thing, friends.

A heartfelt congrats to all the amazing #laronix women, we are blessed to have you, and we are grateful for your smiles.
Laronix also wishes to celebrate all the hardworking #SLT and #Ent women who care for our voiceless people every day. And of course, all women battling voice loss who are our heroes.
Before Laronix, millions of voiceless women had to live with solutions that made them sound like men or robots.
We pride ourselves on being the world's first solution to bring back that feminine voice to women experiencing voice problems.
