Doug Ford is pouring billions into Toronto's waterfront for pet projects that Torontonians don't even want.
Meanwhile rural hospitals, schools, roads and affordable homes are in desperate need of investment.
The level of ignorance here is beyond belief... Ford is at a photo op announcing how he is spending $1B on a new Science Centre instead of $30M in repairs on the current one, and then says he "prides himself" on saving money???
ER doctor here. No EMS crew I have ever received a patient from has complained about a delay on University Avenue due to bike lanes nor have I ever had a patient harmed by such a delay. Fact vs fiction. @abctoronto_
Back in December, Ontario Liberals called on the Ford government to sell off its stockpile of American liquor and use the money to support food banks across Ontario.
Instead, millions of dollars worth of alcohol are sitting in warehouses collecting dust - while Ontarians struggle to afford groceries, and food banks are stretched to the limit.
This government would rather waste money than help people. That tells you everything you need to know about their priorities.#onpoli

Bullshit. People across Ontario are feeling the impact of 8 years of your expensive scandals where hundreds of billions of our hard earned tax dollars are secretly going to your Gravy Class pals through bogus lawsuits, contracts and schemes. Don’t try to gaslight us. #Onpoli
“She threatened to SUE Stellantis.”
Why? 😱
‼️Because Stellantis accepted massive Canadian taxpayer subsidies with explicit job guarantees, and then deliberately moved production of the Jeep Compass from Brampton, Ontario, to Illinois. They broke their signed contract with Canadian workers.
“Then she threatened to CLAW BACK funds from GM.”
Why? 😱
‼️ Because General Motors took Canadian funding and proceeded to eliminate shifts in Oshawa and shut down production in Ingersoll. They failed to respect their part of the deal.
The narrative claims @melaniejoly’s actions “inflamed a very important ally.” Btw, all that is already public.
Let us state the facts. Joly reacted to a direct attack on the Canadian auto sector. U.S. auto monopolies violated their agreements with Canada, eliminated Canadian jobs, and when faced with financial penalties, they ran crying to their buddy Donald Trump to kill the trade deal.
Canada invests in companies. When those companies do not respect their part of the deal, should Canada just bow?
🚩“Conservatives” like Mario think yes.
Premier Ford says this morning: “Governments don’t have an income problem. They have a spending problem.”
He should look in the mirror. Never has a government spent so much to deliver so little while lighting our money on fire for his pet projects to benefit his friends.
My patient stuck in ER for 4 days with no hospital bed to accept them is more important than:
-landing more jets in Toronto
-an Austrian spa
-a new Science Center
-a new jet
-rebate cheques before an election
-accelerated expanded alcohol sales
BREAKING: LOL! Congresswoman Adelita Griljalva brutally humiliates RFK Jr. during a hearing: "You apparently once cut the penis off a road-killed raccoon!"
This is EXACTLY what this lunatic deserved...
"At the most basic level, children can't go to school if they're sick, they can't learn on an empty stomach, and their families can't get ahead if they can't access health care. I'd like to first talk to you about your proposed cuts to medical research," she said. "I was reading an article this morning that talked about your affinity to perform your own medical research."
"You apparently once cut the penis off a road-killed raccoon to study them later!" she said.
According to a new book entitled "RFK Jr: The Fall and Rise," the HHS Secretary did exactly that. The book reveals that a diary entry from the avowed anti-vaxxer lays it all out in unsubtle detail—
“I was standing in front of my parked car on I-684 cutting the penis out of a road killed raccoon, thinking about how weird some of my family members have turned out to be,” Kennedy wrote. “My kids waited patiently in the car.”
This is not the first time that RFK has been connected to a bizarre animal corpse story. He has admitted to once discovering a dead bear cub in the Hudson Valley. He loaded the corpse into his van and then later abandoned it in Central Park along with an old bicycle, a joking attempt to make it look like someone had killed the creature in a bike-related crash.
According to his daughter Kathleen Kennedy, he also once used a chainsaw to remove the head of a dead whale that had washed up on shore and strapped it to the roof the family van before a 6-hour drive home.
“Every time we accelerated on the highway, whale juice would pour into the windows of the car, and it was the rankest thing on the planet,” his daughter recalled. “We all had plastic bags over our heads with mouth holes cut out, and people on the highway were giving us the finger, but that was just normal day-to-day stuff for us.”
If a civilian revealed this kind of behavior, their family would push for them to be psychiatrically evaluated and possibly even institutionalized. In RFK's case, he's in charge of an agency that's responsible for keeping 342 million Americans safe and healthy from deadly diseases. We need a sane, experienced expert in this role, not a corpse-obsessed maniac.
It would be one thing if RFK Jr. were doing an incredible job at HHS and simply had a, shall we say, less-than-sane personal life. But that's not the case. He has overseen a historic measles outbreak and the cutting of vast amounts of research and crucial health services. His tenure has been an unmitigated disaster. Representative Griljalva pointed out as much.
"You speak fondly of medical research, yet your budget cuts show that the National Institutes of Health are going to get a cut of more than 12%" she said. "This level of cuts would halt promising research, force layoffs of scientists and research staff, and undermine America's global leadership in medical intervention and innovation. What specific diseases do you believe deserve less medical research? Uh, DEI."
Please ❤️ and share to demand that RFK Jr. resign!
100 billion for a tunnel.
No money for OSAP.
10 million for strippers.
No money for healthcare.
29 million for a private jet.
No money for education.
THIS IS FISCAL CONSERVATISM.
Every time they are in office they rob us blind. Feather their little nests like Mike Harris did. Kickbacks, gifts, missing funds. It's not a one off. Mike Harris opened the door in Ontario to privatized long term care. When he left office he just "happened" to be made CEO of a long term care company and owns a few of his own. Andrew Scheer paid for his kids private education and a minivan from party funds until he was caught. Now Doug Ford is telling us we are broke while buying a private jet for his use. It's not a bug, it's a feature. The Conservatives will watch people suffer while enjoying their perks. The suffering only adds to their pleasure. @fordnation
🚨 BREAKING 🚨
Ford's Gravy Plane
Ford spent $28.9 million taxpayer dollars to buy a jet for his private use.
Wondering why he wants jets at Billy Bishop Airport? You knew there had to be something in it for him.
It'll cost at least another $1 billion tax dollars so Ford can land his jet in downtown Toronto.

NEW: The Ford government's controversial FOI changes -- embedded into this year's budget legislation -- is set to skip public hearings and will return to the legislature for a final vote.
Here's how it happened:
#onpoli
As Premier Doug Ford was asked about the OSAP changes, he thundered back, calling the Ontario Liberals a "bunch of amateurs" who would bankrupt a lemonade stand.
Note: Under Ford, Ontario's debt will grow to half-a-trillion and the budget has yet to be balanced.

Let me explain the full timeline (link at the end), Philip. But first, some simple math, with this simple math problem 👇
A team wins 169 apples. 2 players later return their apples, dropping them to 167. The referee calls back one apple, bringing them to 166.
5 players from rival teams decided to switch sides, bringing their apples with them (the rules allow that). 166 + 5 = 171.
The rule: 172 apples to win.
Now here’s your problem: the 3 remaining contests were reran. If the leading team had lost all 3, would they have reached 172?
171. They would have stayed at 171. No majority without those 3 contests.

NEW: CityNews has cut ties with Queen’s Park reporter Tina Yazdani, @policornerca has learned, while at least two of her stories about the Ford government have quietly vanished from the web without explanation.

NEW: The Ford government is moving $4B in taxpayer money from a tariff relief program into a private investment fund.
The finance minister argues it will spur economic growth & create future jobs. But critics say it is public money desperately needed in schools and hospitals.
Let me help you tell the complete story @PierrePoilievre. Here is the complete factual breakdown regarding Canada's resource production, recent federal policies, and G7 economic growth.
The Resource Engine 👇
Canada holds significant reserves and operates as a major global producer across multiple sectors. ✅
Water & Power: Canada holds roughly 7% of the world's renewable freshwater and ranks as the 3rd largest global producer of hydroelectricity.
Minerals & Energy: Canada produces approximately 33% of the global potash supply.
Canada holds the 4th largest proven oil reserves. Following the completion of the Trans Mountain expansion in May 2024, Canadian crude oil production and exports hit historic highs. Average production reached a record 5.13 million barrels per day in 2024 and grew to 5.19 million barrels per day in the first half of 2025, allowing West Coast crude exports to nearly double over the year.
Canada possesses the 4th largest uranium reserves and is the 2nd largest active producer globally.
Canada ranks in the top five for gold production, sits 6th in active nickel production, and actively supplies 10 of 12 NATO defence minerals.
The Policy Action 👇
During his first year in office, @MarkJCarney 's administration enacted policies specifically targeting these sectors. The administration launched the "First and Last Mile Fund" to build out critical mineral supply chains. The government passed legislation implementing a "One Project, One Review" system to reduce federal approval times from five years to two.
The administration also doubled the Indigenous Loan Guarantee Program to $10 billion to spur resource development and secured a major critical minerals agreement with India.
GDP and G7 Standing 👇
The shared chart displays the economic data for Q4 2025. During that three month period, new U.S. tariffs forced manufacturers into a ⚠️ massive inventory drawdown, resulting in a 0.6% economic contraction.
The twelve month data provides the annual economic performance. Canada’s real GDP grew by 1.7% for the full year of 2025. This rate places Canada second among G7 economies for the year.
Here is the complete 2025 annual growth breakdown for all G7 economies:
United States: 2.2%
Canada: 1.7%
United Kingdom: 1.3%
Japan: 1.1%
France: 0.7%
Italy: 0.5%
Germany: 0.3%
