Influencer marketing has been all the buzz on social media, in brand launches and for events over the past 5 years. This form of awareness is growing in popularity and it takes a certain amount of skill to match the right brand with the right influencer.

@OneshaDigital *Just because someone is famous doesn't mean s/he can resonate with every brand. Creators can choose what content they want to push and be associated with.

@BeingWesh Ask most influencers where they lie in a brand's "Customer Pipeline Development " and they have no idea.
Azziad may generate awareness for Telkom(She cannot make me switch to Safaricom) but might do Lead Generation for Kotex(She might make her fans switch from Always to Kotex)
@BeingWesh One thing that influencers need to clearly state in these rate cards is where they lie in the brand's customer journey.
Is she better positioned for "Awareness" or "Lead Generation".They can clearly deduce this from the type of engagement they get on various posts.

@BeingWesh@Onesha_tech recently finished doing a campaign for a client and we had to actually help the influencers we were working with develop a strong brand proposition for their other clients, seen this first hand.
Last thing. Five ten years ago we didn't have content creators, now we do. You can't use the threshold you used to pay billboards for content creators, let them make their own rates
Years ago Caroline Mutoko in a video said that most of you are destined to live an average life, average career, average income, average family, an average house and kids then you die. But there are some few! The extraordinary ones. Like Azziad
Yes go Azziad go . You are on the right track , charge as high as you can before your brand loses value , but don’t forget to invest , that’s the only thing most influencers forget
@BravinYuri I've worked for corporates for 8years now, 3years heading Marketing department and believe me when I say, Azziad's rate card is cheap. We've coughed Ksh.200K for an MC < 2 hours!
Azziad has used pricing as a positioning tactic. When so many people know you, everyone approaches you with their budget. Sometimes you have to push yourself to the front and only deal with the greatest demand.
@AzziadNasenya has shown her brand is a value to be paid for.
The #economic impact and #health repercussions of the pandemic have to be considered for every business.
The saving mentality has been taken by many consumers and therefore brands have to compensate this in their #marketing strategies.

@MuthuriKinyamu@Onesha_tech @LeAnnePeris Their target market has shifted to large orgs who can pay a premium & require high standards. Thus freelancers with high skill level r good for #Andela as they will be gotten on demand compared to fixed salaries for their mid-level devs. Strategic and business move on their side
