@guinevereanne@lisandove@LosFelizDaycare I agree with you on that. But tbh I have had this discussion so many times with so many people that I find I grow tierd of it 😩
@guinevereanne@lisandove@LosFelizDaycare I see now that we will never agree. I believe gender norms exist not because of culture but because the two genders differ alot. And you will never convince me otherwise
@guinevereanne@lisandove@LosFelizDaycare But that is my point! You said children like what parents expose them to, that is not true. Most girls are more attracted to girly things and boys so boyish things. So no matter how many different options you expose them to this will be the avarage norm. That is not nuture
@guinevereanne@lisandove@LosFelizDaycare I had so many options yet was attracted to disney princesses and twilight. My niece loves dressing like a princess yet still loves tracors. There is nothing wrong with girls wanting to be feminine and pretty
@guinevereanne@lisandove@LosFelizDaycare But so many girls knows so many options yet they are still attracted to simple princess movies. Girls are generally more attracted to feminine stuff bc we are feminine. Just like more boys are attracted to simple action movies
@guinevereanne@lisandove@LosFelizDaycare This makes no sense... my father tried as hard as he could to raise me to like cars and sports, yet I always cried until he let me watch princess movies 😂
I felt pretty darn empowered in both of these moments. We don’t need Miss America 2.0 to empower women - we’ve been doing just that for almost 100 years. #MissAmerica
Yeah you made it abundantly clear that woman who liked flirting in the workplace must be sex workers, then you said 90% of ppl don’t like flirting in the workplace, which is soo off base. Since the majority of them obviously do. You should work on your arguments for next time. https://t.co/Mqe8WMBLSC
