The former #Riders assistant head coach and all-around good guy and his family are facing a serious challenge here. It's time for the #CFL community to come through. Put aside differences and come together for Ava.

Aircraft in question are:
Jul 7: C-GYJZ
Jul 9: C-GSJZ
Jul 10: C-GJZK
@alexmarz@SaskTel It would be a dumb move. If I switch to a free email, there's no reason to stay with SaskTel. I can take a 'new customer' deal from any ISP.
Pretending that no one noticed the age of the aircraft, the amount of time it takes to procure new aircraft, that a few years ago the Trudeau gov not only acknowledged the above but put $38 million dollars in the CAF budget specifically to fund a life extension for the Snowbirds current aircraft & to set up a NDHQ based cell to procure new aircraft & that his party, the @liberal_party has been the gov for 11 bloody years now.
Passing the buck & living in some fantasy world whereby the clock on fixing things only began ticking a year ago is the very opposite of any form of leadership! #Pitiful

On the same day that the UAE announced that it is doubling its pipeline capacity bypassing the Strait of Hormuz to be OPERATIONAL by 2027, Canada is telling the world it will take 7 to 8 years for its own new pipeline to be completed.
Canada has become so used to never getting anything built that a 7-8 year timeframe for a project supported by the Prime Minister himself is now considered fast by Canadian standards.
⬇️⬇️⬇️
The head of TC Energy says Mexico is eating Canada’s lunch on pipelines, with 8 month permitting times.
That’s right: a Canadian company says it is far easier to build in Mexico than here in Canada.
How long are we going to believe the illusion that the Carney Liberals will change anything?
Several years ago, the Trudeau gov spent $30 million to refurbish the Snowbirds jets so they could keep flying until 2030.
When this funding was announced, the gov made clear, they would use that decade to procure new jets for the Snowbirds.
Well here we are & the money is gone 4 years early & nothing was done to procure new aircraft for the Snowbirds so on 19 May the MND, will announce that after this season the Snowbirds will suspend operations for 5 years while a new airplane is purchased.
This is pure BS!
Even if they were buying an off the shelf airplane, they couldn’t make Squadron operational within 5 years & we all know you don’t do what the Snowbirds do in an off the shelf plane.
This is just kicking a bad news can down the road & hoping that 5 years from now after the gov has been reelected, no one will remember the Snowbirds or miss them enough to demand their return & hey in 5 years, the gov will already be doing backflips trying to fund all the military hardware they’ve already ordered & will then make the argument that military combat operations take priority over a demonstration team that really doesn’t generate recruits or good will between the CAF & CDN’s.
Another tradition, another piece of military history is about to fly off into the sunset with barely a whimper from Team Elbows Up!
Jon McKenzie, CEO of Cenovus, came out swinging on their Q1 conference call today. Great to see CEO's becoming more vocal about our squandered opportunity! To summarize: no other oil producing country is doing this to themselves...time for Canada to wake up!
