@mlmcrane Bears have to pay players that get hurt on Soldier Field. The park district owns Soldier Field and constantly ruins the playing surface with concerts and other events. So it’s understandable they’d want to own their own stadium and profit off the risk these other events present
Pete Crow-Armstrong's 1.201 OPS is the best of any National League player over their last 15 games played
He has a .368 average, three doubles and six home runs in that span
@SonRanto I’m sure you are aware that the franchise being valued at $8.9 billion dollars doesn’t mean the McCaskeys have $8.9 billion dollars. Right? Please tell me you know that at the very least before I continue to entertain any more of your stupidity.
@GburgAddress@ChicagoBears That iconic venue is owned by the Chicago Park District and is the smallest venue in the NFL. Those 2 reasons are exactly why the Bears don’t want to play there anymore. It’s bad for business.
@Ultimat_Frisbie@GrimBurden@JacobMorley Actually, the city of Chicago is actively begging to keep the Bears as evidenced by the mayor going on local sports talk radio laying out his plan. The State of Indiana is practically begging for the Bears to come with tax breaks. And Arlington Heights, IL wants them too.
@TazimWajidWajed There are currently 10 teams that play outside of the city that they “represent” not counting the Chiefs and Bears who will both move soon. People acting like this is new are just dumb or trying to rage bait.
@BrendanSugrue I’m a die hard Bears fan so don’t take this wrong way but the Bears have won exactly 1 championship since moving to Soldier Field. Maybe change will be a good thing.
@Packers_Base Packers players & fans say this about each team in the division when that team wins the division. Every team has won the division since the last time the Packers have. Green Bay isn’t the class of the division anymore. They’re just another team. Titletown has become wildcard town
@BrianPiechowicz@ChristianFox_17@goudakunst@Peter_Bukowski The Bears were in the Super Bowl like 5 years before the Packers last Super Bowl appearance so by your own metric is it like 40% of packers fans that have never seen a Super Bowl? But only one of these two teams has a starting qb that has led their team to a division title.
@DavidHaugh@leilarahimi@mullyhaugh@thescorechicago I can’t even begin to express to you how little interest I have in listening to politicians talk on sports talk radio. The only people that matter on this topic at this point have the last name McCaskey or Warren. Let me know when they have something to say.
