But slow down and look at what is actually happening.

This Venezuela oil agreement is not just about oil.

It is about geopolitical leverage.

It is about reducing America's exposure to hostile regimes.

It is about strengthening America's position in the Western Hemisphere.

It is about bringing enormous energy reserves closer to the American economic system.

It is about creating another layer of protection against instability in the Middle East.

And ultimately, it is about putting the United States in a stronger position to dictate terms instead of constantly reacting to everyone else.

Think about the strategy.

If America can increase access to Venezuelan crude while continuing to expand domestic production, it potentially weakens the leverage of hostile oil-producing nations.

More supply can pressure global oil prices.

Lower oil prices can eventually mean lower gasoline and diesel prices.

Lower diesel costs reduce trucking and freight expenses.

Lower transportation costs reduce pressure on food, agriculture, manufacturing and retail.

That feeds directly into the cost of living for ordinary Americans.

And when households spend less filling their tanks, they have more money available for groceries, housing, travel, businesses and everything else that drives the American economy.

Then there is the strategic side.

For decades, American foreign policy has often been forced to consider how disruptions thousands of miles away could affect energy markets at home.

Expanding reliable supply within the Western Hemisphere changes that equation.

Not overnight.

Not magically.

But structurally.

And that is what people often miss when President Trump posts something like this.

He is not simply talking about what happens next Tuesday.

He is trying to reposition the country for the next decade.

Energy.

Manufacturing.

Trade.

Artificial intelligence.

Critical minerals.

Defense.

Supply chains.

Foreign investment.

Domestic investment.

Border security.

All of these things eventually connect.

That does NOT mean every Trump policy will succeed.

It does NOT mean oil automatically falls below $50.

It does NOT mean gasoline instantly drops to $2.

And it certainly does not mean every Republican in Washington is aligned with him.

In fact, one of the biggest political realities of this administration has been the resistance President Trump has faced not only from Democrats, but also from members of his own party who disagree with significant parts of his agenda.

That internal fight matters.

Because a president can negotiate, issue executive actions and shape foreign policy, but Congress still controls enormous parts of taxation, spending, regulation and legislation.

So when you see announcements like this, don't just read the headline.

Look at the chessboard.

Look at energy independence.

Look at the Western Hemisphere.

Look at American manufacturing.

Look at inflation.

Look at supply chains.

Look at the competition with China.

Look at where America could be positioned by 2028 if even a substantial portion of this strategy succeeds.

That is the bigger picture.

And whether someone supports Trump or not, that is the debate Americans should actually be having heading into the midterms.

Vote Republicans in November folks. Give the man the leverage to finish what he's started.

A 42-year-old man named "Raymond Sookram" lured a 14-YEAR-OLD GIRL who missed her school bus into his truck, saying he would give for a ride home.

...but he never took her home

Instead, he se*ually assaulted her and then dropped her back off at her school.

He has been arrested for aggravated child mol*station, trafficking a person for se*ual servitude and interference with custody, according to the sheriffs office.

Sookram's neighbors are terrified saying he was well liked and ran a home remodeling business and many people trusted him to come in and out of their homes.

By 2024 he wasn’t a campus side act. He had about 7 million on Instagram, almost 4 million on YouTube, close to 5 million on X, and a huge TikTok, and in that same stretch the youth numbers moved with him — Trump went from 36% of 18-to-29-year-olds to 46–47%, young men flipped from 56% Biden to 56% Trump, and he took the youth vote in 17 states instead of 7. That’s why he scared people.

He didn’t mince words. His delivery was powerful. He commanded the room.

I had the privilege of giving what would be the equivalent of a best man’s speech at Charlie and Erika’s wedding.

It has been excruciating to lose him and live through that daily for the past 11.5 months.

It’s been an existential loss beyond compare to the conservative permanent infrastructure.

But it’s been worst of all watching people who hardly interacted with him and never helped him build the things he cared about most— try to speak on his behalf. That goes across the board to all sides.

I watched him many times defend like a lion the people who were in our organization who got attacked. And it has happened regularly over the years— everyone from students to entry level employees, partners, board members and executives.

He took permanent personal offense to those who took cheap shots at TPUSA and the people who worked for him. Thats what made him a great leader.

Charlie was dedicated every day talking to regular people. He did it on his show, but more importantly he did it any time he could be in public like a regular guy. He would go on walks with his kids and Erika around his neighborhood... Talking to neighbors and getting the citizen’s views on how things were going.

He loved getting know new people who wanted to be involved with our projects.

He didn’t camp out all day on X, he issued directives on those social platforms that largely suppressed us post 2021 and he wouldn’t even read the troll reactions to his convictions.

He didn’t seek out fights with people, he generally avoided conflict as a Midwesterner and wanted people to get along. Thats why bad people felt they could take advantage of his kindness.

He spent the balance of his time in person, on the phone and in chats coming up with new and ingenious creative ideas to implement solutions for the conservative movement to move the ball down the field against the Marxists. Most of the people who feel the need to constantly say they were closer to Charlie than they actually were, are products of his ingenuity and graciousness of attitude, kindness and resources.

He is one of a kind, a great friend and the best example to so many of the American spirit and way to live.
