Let me advise those of you young people in the corporate world.
If you have a colleague that both of you were mates in rank or position, and you were very close, and that colleague of yours later becomes your boss.
Do not say because you were once mates in position, then you think you can interact with him or her the same way.
Respect the authority that he or she is presently occupying and keep your distance.
Wait to see if he or she would still want you to be closer, before you know how to interact with them officially.
Your bosses take key decisions for the firm, even if that decision may affect you.
They have meetings that you're not privileged or qualified to attend.
If you keep trying to interact with that colleague simply because you were once close, you'll be shocked.
Where they're making decisions that may affect you, your once close colleague may throw you under the bus.
Especially if you work in a structured environment, where meritocracy is recognized over familiarity.
Your colleagues are mostly not your friends.
All of you are earning salaries just to get by.
Do your job diligently, so that your once close colleague that was at your level, will not be seen as trying to use his or her position to favour you unduly.
I didn't write this posts for illiterates or ignorant or entitled persons.
End.
Tonight, our nation has reason to give thanks.
The children and teachers abducted by Ansaru terrorists in Oyo State have been rescued by our security forces, alive and unharmed. No ransom was paid. No concession was made.
I salute every officer and operative whose courage, discipline, and professionalism made this possible.
To those who seek to spread fear through terror, know that the Nigerian state will pursue you relentlessly. We will protect our people, defend our communities, and never relent until peace and security prevail across our country.

Whoever taught Dangote how to fight dirty did an amazing work.
This man legit read apology letter on TV 😅😅
Very soon, media will be careful on what they say about Dangote.
Can a man marry a girl at 17, and her mother & brothers would not be in support of it?
Is it not on record that, her father was against the marriage at the beginning?
No matter what anyone says, there are consequences for being greedy & covetous.
And by the way, it may not be 17.
It may be 18.
But she said 17, so as to paint him as a predator or pedophile.
Did they not first deny that it was a lie that she isn't on drugs?
And instead of fighting her own battle and her family, trying to douse the issues, she's now Stylishly dragging his other wives into her mess.
Wanting to label them druggies (true or not), because they have decided to stay silent and mind their business.
When a woman has been fully possessed by the devil, she will not only destroy herself, she'll destroy everyone and everything around her.
Most importantly, she'll be seeking public sympathy, and manipulate the public to hate the man she's trying to bring down.
By the time she her family realise the damage they have done to her children, it will be too late.
Let me remind you men again.
Leave poor people alone, and let poor people marry themselves.
Your money will not buy you peace, respect and it can never keep a woman that doesn't want to be kept.
Greed is the bane.
End.
A married man is making money for himself, his wife, & their children.
A married woman is making money for herself, & their children.
Don't ever allow your wife set you up for failure.
Do things according to your pocket.
Not according to you & your wife's pocket.
Good night.
There is mostly always an underlying reason you grew up seeing your father maltreat your mother.
And your mother may never tell you.
Neither will your father.
He once professed undying love to her, remember?
End.
Any woman that cheats on you whilst being pregnant for you, knows that you're not the father, or is not sure that you're the father of the child in her womb.
End.
What Kwam1 did should send him to jail for a while.
He not only put his own life at risk, he risked the lives of other people.
A 6 months no-flight ban is not enough.
He should go to jail.
The pilots were also very unprofessional.
End.
