Vickrum Digwa’s brother, Gurpreet Digwa, 27, lied to police that Henry Nowak hadn’t been stabbed and had racially attacked his brother, perverting the course of justice.

Police also recorded him conspiring with Vickrum in a police car.

Six months later, he was arrested on multiple weapons charges and is currently on bail.

Meanwhile, Reece Robinson, 21, threw two stones at the Southampton police protest, hitting no one, and was jailed for 2 years and 1 month within 7 days.

If people are angry enough, they will find each other.

Then you voted to revoke Article 50 without a referendum. You voted against the democratic result. Fifty-eight percent of your own constituents voted Leave. You voted to ignore them. You called it principle. They call it betrayal. They call it treachery. They are correct.

You voted to scrap winter fuel payments for nine million pensioners. You took £300 from the poorest elderly households while you spent £1 million on private flights in three months. £14,000 per day. Your Foreign Office blew £521,000 on restaurants and bars in four months. The venues were hidden. The receipts were buried. The entitlement is total. The hypocrisy is infinite.

You claimed £7,000 in accountancy fees on expenses. Ten times. To help with your tax returns. While you underpaid £2,500 in council tax on your £1.6 million London home. "An oversight," you claimed. The oversight of the man who lectures others about paying their fair share. The oversight of the reparations advocate who cannot pay his own bills. The oversight of the Nazi-caller who cannot follow basic tax law.

You demanded reparations for the slave trade. You demanded Britain pay up. While you sat in the £3 million official residence at Chevening. While you flew business class to Washington. While you dined at the British Embassy. While you collected your £89,000 ministerial salary on top of your £91,000 MP salary. While your wife sat on the board of the Victoria and Albert Museum. Another quango. Another appointment. Another connection. The reparations advocate with the £180,000 household income. The guilt-monger with the expense account. The shame-peddler with the grace-and-favour residence.

You took £35,000 from a property developer. You took hospitality from Qatar. You took flights from Saudi Arabia. You took dinners from anyone who would pay. Then you lectured others about ethics. Then you demanded transparency. The standards never applied to you. The rules were for the little people. The Nazis. The ones you despise.

You called the 2011 Tottenham rioters victims of social injustice. While Tottenham burned. While shops were looted. While your constituents lost everything. You made excuses. You blamed cuts. 🚨 UK Police Arrest Christian for Wearing a Sign Because It’s ‘Likely to Cause Harassment, Alarm or Distress’

Man: “Currently I’m being arrested for expressing freedom of speech.”

Officer: “This gentleman has committed an offence by displaying a sign or writing that is likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress.”

Man: “Cuffing me for what? Freedom of expression, freedom of speech, inciting nothing. I have calm, rational debates with people. I was not disrespectful. I love people. I am a Christian.”

The man is then loaded into the back of a police van and taken away, all for wearing a sign that someone might find offensive.

Senior Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue bosses have cautioned firefighters who support Reform UK.

Fire chiefs sent an email to staff stating that firefighters who support — or have stood as candidates for — Reform UK had been spoken to about their views.

The email, sent by Mr Petch and Ms Ahmed, also appeared to encourage staff to report colleagues they believe support Reform UK.

The General Secretary of the Free Speech Union, Lord Young, has written to Greater Manchester Mayor Andy Burnham, who is responsible for the governance of the region’s fire and rescue service and is widely regarded as our next Prime Minister.

In his letter, Lord Young wrote: “Staff are further invited to report colleagues who support any groups that go against the service’s values, which effectively amounts to an instruction to inform on colleagues for their political beliefs.”

He added: “The practical effect is that a public fire and rescue service governed by you is treating the lawful political activity of your electoral opponents as a reputational risk to their employer.

“Regardless of whether this reflects your instruction, it reflects your governance; and a public office-holder who permits his institution to demonise or chill the speech and political activity of those who support his principal electoral rival cannot claim to be discharging that office with the impartiality it demands.”

The Free Speech Union has just heard from South Wales Police that it has withdrawn its guidance on “anti-Muslim hostility”.

The force had effectively adopted its own Islamic blasphemy law, instructing officers to record any conversation that went beyond “legitimate” discussion of Islam.

Under this guidance, criticism of Islam could have been recorded as an anti-social behaviour incident and potentially appeared on DBS checks, affecting someone’s ability to work as a teacher, carer, or in other regulated professions.

South Wales Police has backed down because the Free Speech Union threatened them with a judicial review if it chose to press ahead with the policy.

The force has described this move as a “pause” to the guidance — but we think it is highly unlikely to return.

We must also thank Shadow Equalities Minister @ClaireCoutinho for referring South Wales Police to the Equality and Human Rights Commission after we brought this issue to her attention.

Blasphemy laws were abolished by Parliament 18 years ago. We must not allow them to return through the back door.

Let this be a warning to any other public body — particularly police forces — considering the adoption of its own blasphemy laws.

The Government’s official definition of Islamophobia — repackaged as “anti-Muslim hostility” — was published in March.

The Free Speech Union warned from the outset that it would have a chilling effect on free speech and stifle legitimate criticism of Islam. The decision to classify prejudicial stereotyping as a form of “anti-Muslim hostility” will also deter people — including public officials — from speaking out about the grooming gangs scandal and Islamist extremism.

We also predicted that, despite being a non-statutory definition, it would serve as a gold-embossed invitation for public bodies to produce guidance that goes even further.

South Wales Police are now zealously enforcing their own bespoke Islamic blasphemy law, instructing officers to record any conversation that goes beyond what they deem “legitimate” discussion of Islam.

Why should police officers be given the power to decide what constitutes acceptable speech about a religion and its followers in a country where blasphemy laws were abolished in 2008?

These incidents will be logged as “anti-social behaviour incidents” — the successor to the draconian non-crime hate incident regime. They could appear on an enhanced DBS check and potentially prevent someone from getting a job.

The Free Speech Union has written to South Wales Police demanding that this guidance be withdrawn. If they refuse, we have warned that we will seek judicial review.
